Lara
I watched him kill a man in my bedroom.
A bad man.
But that doesn’t stop me from smelling the blood as I let him take me.
I can lie to myself and say that this is all his fault, he broke into my room before he crawled into my bed but we both know the truth . . . I didn’t try to stop him, instead I begged for more.
And now that he’s had me, he’s never letting go.
I’m his and he’s mine, no matter how much I fight.

Michael
I minute that I saw her, I knew . . . Lara Kelsey belongs with me.
I’m not strong enough to stay away, I tried but it was too hard. My world won’t be right until I claim her.
Lara makes me rash and impatient.
I want a family, a normal life. Someone who can accept me for who I am, darkness and all.
She can fight this all she wants but we both know what she’s hiding . . . She feels the pull too.
Lara craves me, she wants me, and she will love me.
I just need to give her a reason to stay.
