“Then I think you three are all set,” she said with a smirk, setting the information down onto my desk.
“Can you maybe find something for her to help you out with around here today?” I asked, nodding in the woman’s direction.
“Oh! You mean Beautiful, the woman that’s here undercover?” She giggled, causing Brice and I to look at each other with confusion before looking to the woman as she laughed.
“Am I missing something here?” Brice asked.
“It seems Carter was introducing her around the building today as an undercover agent that goes by the name of Beautiful.”
All of us broke out in laughter. “I swear to God that guy is something else,” I said.
“You can say that again. Come with me sweetheart, I'll get you set up with some work.” T said as the woman got up and moved to leave with her.
After the door shut, Brice spoke up. “I swear, as soon as Carter finds that special woman, we all need to fuck with him hard to pay him back for all the shit he puts us through.”
“Amen to that brother.”
