“That’s all you. That’s what you do to me. You make me get so wet and no, I’m not too tired for you to take care of my needs. I would very much appreciate it if you tasted me like I did you.”

“If you give me a minute, I can give you my Moby Dick instead of my tongue.”

“I love your Moby Dick but I really want your tongue tonight.”

Zac stood up and scooped me into his arms, then he laid me down on my bed. After moving his body down to the foot of it, he pushed my legs apart and crawled up me until his face was right above my pussy. Then with two fingers, he spread me apart and licked my clit with his hot tongue.

“Are you ready,” he asked, looking up at me.

“Yes.”

“I’m about to make you scream my name, Sinclair.”

I grinned, and then Zac wrapped his lips around my clit and started sucking on it while fucking me with two of his fingers. What he was doing felt so good but then he started sucking onmy clit even harder, which intensified everything I was feeling. He kept sucking harder and harder on it, making it rise up like a tower. I started trembling all over again as the sensation between my legs began nearing the point of no return, then reached it—and I screamed Zac’s name.

ZAC AND Iwoke up this morning to the sound of both our cellphones notifying us that someone had sent us a text message. He grabbed them off my nightstand and then handed mine to me.

“It’s Brooke,” we said at the same time, looking back at each other. Then we read the messages in a group text between her, Zac and me.

“What do you wanna do?” Zac asked.

“Accept her invitation. Let’s go have this talk. I’m ready.”

“So am I.”

Zac was supposed to pick up Malcolm from his parents’ house at eleven but I knew he wasn’t going to be able to do that now since Brooke was inviting the two of us to have brunch with her at her house at the same time. So he called his mother to let her know about the change in his schedule, but he didn’t tell her the truth about why it had changed. He just said he’d had an issue come up with one of his clients and he needed to go meet with them at his office at eleven.

After getting off the phone with his mother, Zac told me that she wasn’t concerned in the least about him having to pick upMalcolm later than planned and to go take care of business. He felt bad about lying to her, but I told him that was something that he and I were both going to have to get used to when it came to keeping our relationship under wraps. He agreed.

Now that Zac had Malcolm taken care of, we each texted Brooke back to accept her invitation. Then the two of us went outside onto my back patio and sat at the table while sipping on our cups of coffee. Zac kept watching me.

“I can see how much you’re stressing about going over to Brooke’s, and it’s gonna be okay,” he finally said. “Just breathe and have faith.”

“That’s easy for you to say—you know Brooke so much better than I do, plus you don’t work for her. Big differences.”

“That’s true, but because I do know Brooke as well as I do, I’m not concerned about her lowering the boom on you or me when we get over to her house. She could’ve already done that, but she hasn’t. And remember what she told me last night. She’s okay about you and me being involved with each other. She understands.”

“Zac, how do you think she found out about us?”

“I think she saw us kissing in the hallway at Mystic Bar on Monday night. I think she got up to use the restroom right after you did and there we were doing what we were doing. Brooke probably just turned around and went back to the table. Did she act any differently toward you when you got back? She didn’t act any differently toward me.”

“No, she was the same. The only thing that she did was ask me if I was okay because I’d taken so long. I told her that you and I saw each other in the hallway and talked about our Scottish heritage some more.”

Zac dropped his head and sighed, then looked back up at me. “That’s when Brooke found out about us. She saw us kissing in the hallway. I have no doubt about it now.”

“I just thought of something else that she said.”

“What?”

“When she was taking me back to pick up my car at her office, she brought up my case against you. She pointed out how friendly you and I have become, then basically wanted to know if I was going to be able to keep the personal and professional separate between you and me. Of course, I told her that I would. Doing my job has never been a problem for me.”

“Don’t I know it.”
