“Shall we continue with the interview?” he asks.

I can only nod and attempt a smile as though nothing has happened. “Tell me about yourself,” Nikolai says as he sits behind his desk. He doesn't waste any time with his questions.

“Well I served as a receptionist for the past ten years at my former job. I do have references included with the application I filled out online for this job. During my time at my previous employment, I have been commended on my customer service skills, my abilities to work with others and my commitment to the company. I hardly took any time off unless it was absolutely necessary.

“What makes you unique?”

“My uniqueness is my ten years of experience on the job. Don't take this the wrong way, but I notice this is a company that consists of twenty-something-year-olds. I'm thirty-two and may seem over the hill compared to most of the young people here. But let me assure you, in most cases experience triumphs youth. I know what it takes to create positive energy in the workplace.”

“Why do you want to work here?”

“I must admit that I've read several articles about this company. I read that you and your partner are lifelong friends who went to college together and started this multi-billion dollar company. I am intrigued, and I admire the business acumen you two acquired at such a young age. I also admire your company’s mission to help graduate students in need of jobs. I know what college loans does to a person. I'm still paying them to this day. I applaud your company on the diversity of your hiring practices as well. Also, your company is in the top ten in all the business magazines in the U.S. and abroad.”

Nikolai nods, and a grin spreads across his handsome face. I can tell he's very proud of his accomplishments. Who wouldn't be?

“It seems you've done your homework, Kassidy. Tell me, what motivates you and what are you passionate about?”

“I want to feel a part of something greater. At night when I lie down I want to feel as if I've accomplished making a difference in the company I'm working for. Of course, paying my bills, putting food on the table motivates me. But it's more than that.”

“I get that. Great answer. Why are you leaving your current job?

“I'm not going anywhere-- I haven't had a promotion and only two raises in the ten years I've worked there. Simply put, it's time for me to move on.

Are you willing to work extra hours, or travel when necessary?

“Yes, I'm not afraid of hard work. I am also free to travel. I have only me to worry about, and nothing is holding me back.”

“Excellent! Why should N&D hire you?

“My highest value to any company is my ability to work independently, freeing up time for my employers to focus on the needs of their business. You tell me what to do, and I will get it done.” I don't believe how easy it is to answer these questions. It seems as if my uneasiness dissipated by the warmth of Nikolai's voice.

“Kassidy the job is yours if you want it.”

I have to fight myself to keep my mouth from dropping open. Oh my God! Just like that, the job is mine. I wanted it, but I can't believe it. “Yes! I want the job. Thank you, Nikola. Thank you so much.”

“You will need to meet with my partner Dirk Hawking’s. A fair word of warning—Dirk is still coming to grips with Nola’s decision to leave. Don’t let his grumpy attitude dissuade you in any way. I'm sure he will want to welcome you, on board anyway.”

My heart plummets and a butterfly like feeling settles in the pit of my belly. What if Nikolai’s partner doesn’t want to hire me? What then?

“Dirk’s office is the one across from this one. I’ll let him know you’re on your way over. I’m looking forward to working closely with you, Kassidy,” Nikolai says getting up as I stand to my feet. He reaches for both of my hands, his eyes plunges down into mine. A shudder runs through my body from his intense gaze. His lip arches up on one side and I want to melt on the spot.

“I’m looking forward to working with you too,” I barely get out. I inhale his spicy cologne and warmth settles into a part of my body that it doesn’t have any right to. I squeeze my thighs together and feel wetness gathering there.

“I’ll see you to the door,” Nikolai’s voice penetrates my muddled brain.

“Thank you,” I reply before stepping out the door to make my way across the hall. I can feel his eyes on me as I walk away but I dare not look back to find out for sure.

Dirk

Nikolai just sent me a text saying he is impressed with Kassidy’s professional demeanor. Even though she appeared to be ill-at-ease during the interview she was well spoken and held up. She’s the one! He ends the text and I put my phone away just as I call for her to enter my office.

I take notice that Kassidy is beautiful. I can’t help myself from taking in her flawless dark skin and the impeccable way her two piece skirt suit fit her like a second skin. I lick my lips as my eyes robes over her busty cleavage. Only two buttons are left undone but the softness of her breasts penetrate through my imagination.

I only ask her a few questions and I notice just before each question she pauses, and angles her head to one side to expose her delicate neckline. I wonder what her skin would feel like against my lips.

Kassidy’s hair is chin length and styled in a bob that bounces slightly when she turn her head. I can find myself drowning in the depths of her chocolate dark eyes when our gazes clash.

My eyes land on the fullness of her lips. She wears a nude gloss which give them a plush look; undoubtedly meant to be kissed and fucked by my cock.
