The headlines say I’m engaged to one of football’s biggest stars. There’s one problem—we’re not actually dating.

Finn Miller is my best friend’s brother, a professional athlete, and the most dangerously boyfriend-y man I’ve ever met.
He knows where to order my favorite drink. He carries my bags when I shop. He knows exactly how to make me laugh (and other things), while making me forget why I’ve sworn off relationships.

Our chemistry? Off the charts. Our commitment? That’s another story.
We’re friends with benefits and that’s it.
Then one innocent joke sparks a media frenzy, and suddenly pretending to be Finn’s fiancée comes with a million-dollar opportunity that I can’t afford to turn down.
A few public appearances and one ridiculously expensive ring to pretend to be engaged to a man who knows me better than anyone? Easy right?
Wrong.

Finn is determined to make this feel real. And the more time I spend playing his future wife, the harder it gets to remember why I never wanted this role.
I had a game plan to protect my heart, chase my dreams, and never fall for Finn Miller.
Too bad he has a game plan of his own.
