Nazareli ‘Lotus’ Holt hadn’t had an easy life. She’d been dealt vicious blow after vicious blow, starting from when she was a small girl and she was left feeling as though she was the cause. Finding her place with Shadow Elite saved her from self-destruction, but darkness still stalked her.

Then she met Damon Cavendish, the one man who saw through her prickly exterior to the frightened woman she was inside. She couldn’t stop herself from giving into the passion between them but one night together proved to her what she already knew in her heart. That the suave, handsome billionaire was too good for her and she knew she had to walk away from him. But fate had other ideas and Lotus is faced with a decision which could either break her beyond repair or give her the biggest reason to live unafraid of what the future held.

Before she can make the choice, her past comes back to hunt her and she is once again thrust into the deadly darkness of her past deeds. The only outcome that is guaranteed is that someone will die, and she’ll do anything to ensure it’s not the man who has stolen her heart even if it means sacrificing her future and her heart’s desire.
