The last thing I remember is explosions and then poof… the freighter full of people I was responsible for was nothing but space rubble.

I woke up and I was surrounded by aliens shouting in languages I didn’t understand and before I knew it, I was being thrown into an arena full of them. As a human, all eyes are on me. Including his. I don’t know what he is, but he’s big, dark, and absolutely terrifying.
I was supposed to be safe on the Nexus. Now it looks like I’m about to die… or worse.
