“I will do no such thing.”

Turning back around, I looked straight into her eyes. “Did you ever stop to wonder why I told you to bring Dante with you today, Momma?” When she shook her head, I continued. “It's because I fucked him, Momma.”

“Camilla!”

“What? He was there and I was horny, don't be such a prude, Momma. Though I know you must just be so ashamed of me because I didn't save myself for marriage like your precious Lillian, right? Well get over it! Because I have another man who is willing to help me for let's just say a little favor I can do for him, and he's at the house with Lillian right now. One word from me and her life is over.”

“I don't believe you, besides, why would you need her when I'm here to sign over your trust to you so you can flee the country the second I do?”

Chuckling, I answered. “Because, I need her signature, too. I want it all Momma, including Lillian’s trust. It's the least I deserve after the way you and papa have always treated me, like I was second rate to her.”

“I'm not calling her Camilla, so if you’re going to kill me, the woman who gave you life if I don't, then so be it. I'm not going to endanger my daughter’s life.”

“Fine, you want to test me?” Pulling out my phone I made the call. “Hey, it's me, Camilla, yeah, yeah I know but I need you to do me a favor sweetie. Remember what I told you I wanted to do? Well it's time, and I'm getting the money for that today, but I need you to do one thing for me. Yes, I need you to bring Lillian to a warehouse out on I-90.” I rattled off the address to him before hanging up and looking back at my mother. “Looks like I only need you to sign, and if you even try to alert anyone at the bank as to what's going on, I will put a bullet in her head and just take the money from my trust. It would be enough to last me long enough to find some place to hide.”

He eyes glare at me with pure loathing disgust. “I have never been so ashamed to call you my daughter as I am right now, Camilla. I will do as you ask, I will get you the money. But if you go through with this, then I want you to disappear and never come back home to this family, you hear me? Because as of this moment you are no longer my daughter.”

Feeling the slight sting of pain I never expected to feel from her bitter words, anger rose up inside of me once again. “I was never your daughter in the first place!” I yelled at her, turning to Luca, who looked even more angry than before. “Get us to the bank now.” I snapped out at him as tears began to gather in my eyes.

“Any other assholes I should know about that you’ve fucked to manipulate into doing your bidding for you before I kill this last one when he shows up with, Lillian?” He bit out, hate lacing his words for my actions.

“No. Now let's get to the bank so Momma can sign for both accounts and then I'll bring Lillian back to add her signature.” Leaning over, I grabbed his thigh and squeezed it. “Just think about the end game here baby, focus on that and none of the shit we have to go through to get there.”

“You make me sick.” I heard my mother mumble under her breath, but pretend I didn't.
