CHAPTER

Porter

Seeing the fear inKeira's eyes, I tried my best to soothe her and reassure her that everything was going to be okay. "Now stay with Vance and Brice, do not leave their sides under any circumstances, do you understand me?" I gripped both of her arms, keeping her attention on me.

"I won't. And please be careful. I won't be able to take it if anything happens to you," she said, getting on her tiptoes to kiss me.

"Nothing is going to happen to me, I promise." We released our hold on one another and I watched as she and the others left the room.

Steeling my thoughts for a moment as I prepared myself to end this whole thing once and for all, I was interrupted by Larson's voice. "You ready to get this over with? We've got everyone else separated and in place."

"I've been ready since the moment he took Keira away from me. Where's Agent Jackson?"

"He's secured in the van outside and under guard for now, trust me he's not going anywhere."

Giving him a nod, we left the office and headed down the stairs that led to the dungeons they kept these women in and where we'd confined Luciano as well as some of the others.

Opening the door to the one he'd been put in, I saw that Hudson and Turner had put one of his own metal collars around his neck with the heavy chain hooked into the floor, holding him in place on his knees. I had to say it was the most satisfying sight I’d seen in awhile.

Both Larson and I entered the cell, shutting the door behind us before Luciano spoke up. "You can't do this! You are men of the law, you can't just ignore a murder!"

Walking up to him, I backhanded him across the face with my fist balled, just like I knew he did when he put that mark on Keira's face, and it sends him to the floor with a thud. Crouching down in front of him, I grabbed a hold of his chin, so he had nowhere to look but into my eyes. "You took the love of my life, assaulted her, and then you were going to sell her to the highest bidder. Anything I do to you pales in comparison to the pain that you've caused us, but I'm going to try my damnedest at making you feel every bit of it. Get him up." I told Hudson.

"Gladly," Hudson said, standing him up.

"What do you think is worse than knowing the death that you're about to meet today?" I questioned him.

Raising his chin in defiance he simply smirked at me with no answer at first, but then said. "you, living with the knowledge that I fucked her, and she begged me for it. Screamed out my name and told me to fuck her harder..."

Before he got the chance to finish his cruel lie, I punched him in his face with so much force you could hear his head bounce off the cement floor when he fell. "You’re a liar! You never touched her! And you will never touch her!" I shouted at him. "I'm done with this piece of shit." I growled. "Get the gasoline so I can watch this motherfucker burn to the ground with him inside it."

"Happy to." Larson called in Santino and his men.

As they entered the room, Santino bent down to Luciano. "Mr. Sanchez, it seems that the time has come to finish off the two-headed snake so it will never be able to inject our women and our children with its vial ever again," he said, referring to him and his brother, Pablo. Rising up, he motioned to one of his men to step forward and begin to cover Luciano in gasoline.

As it fell all over him, he spit out what got into his mouth and shouted out obscenities at all of us in Spanish. "Aww yes, you had better get back in touch with your roots, because it's your last day to do so," Santino said, stepping up to my side, handing me a lighter before moving back out of the room with the rest of his men in tow.

As I held the lighter in my hand, I held Luciano's glare with my eyes. "I want a moment alone with him."

"Are you sure?" Hudson asked.

"Very."

"You heard the man," Hudson said as they all left the room, shutting me inside with the man that almost robbed me of the rest of my life, knowing that without Keira there wouldn't be one for me to truly live had I lost her to the monster before me.

I crouched down in front of him. "Think you can do me a favor, Luciano?"

Chuckling at my question, he finally quieted down and just stared back at me as I raised up to my full height once again and flicked the lighter. The flame that ignited held his eyes prisoner with fear as I backed up towards the door away from him. "What's that, burn in hell?" He said in a sarcastic tone, spitting out more of the fuel that got into his mouth.

"No. Try and stay alive as long as possible so I can hear your screams as you suffer," I tossed the lighter at him and watched his body go up in flames.

He screamed out horrific sounds and rolled around on the floor as the chain held him a prisoner to the flames that now engulfed his body. The smell of burning flesh began to become too much for me so I opened the door and saw the others standing there as I stepped out to join them as we all watched him burn until there was no more movement. Satisfied that he was somewhere in hell, I turned and walked out of there with no remorse for what I'd just done.

Only relief.
