Nick shut the door with a grumble.

Holly took a seat at the counter in their kitchen, grinning when her phone vibrated. Delilah responded with three heart-eyed emojis.

OMG love it!

Holly clicked out of the message without responding and saw Declan had shot her a sendoff of: See you in the A.M.

“What’s that smile for?” Noel asked.

“Delilah was responding to my bat pic.” Although it wasn’t the only reason, Holly wasn’t willing to talk to anyone about Declan until she figured out what she was feeling.

“Speaking of, where did you get it?” Nick asked as he joined them in the kitchen.

“Believe it or not, Declan.”

“I thought he hated you?” Nick asked.

“We’ve been developing a mutual respect for each other during this prank war. It’s funny, I played another prank on him by asking my followers to call the store and tell him holiday jokes, but it made him paranoid.”

“What do you mean?” Noel asked, placing two wrapped tacos on a plate and passing it to Holly.

“One of the callers said he is single, lives nearby in Utah, and wants to take me out. Declan thought it was strange that my followers know where I’m from.”

“It’s not strange, it’s fucking creepy,” Nick said.

Holly shrugged. “Maybe, but it’s part of the glamorous life of an influencer.”

“Is pranking going to be your new thing?” Noel asked, taking a bite of her taco.

“Who told you I was looking for a new thing?”

Noel pointed to Nick with a cough, and he paused mid-chew, his gaze shifting between them. “What? I didn’t know it was a secret you were tired of dressing up like an elf.”

“It’s not, but I don’t understand why my business seems to be everyone in this family’s business.”

“Because you are a part of this family,” Nick said.

“To answer your question,” Holly addressed Noel, ignoring Nick’s sarcasm, “no, pranking isn’t going to be my new thing. I want to find something not so intricate that I can just take a fun video and upload it.”

“What about a cooking channel? I love BDylanHollis because he’s funny and dramatic, just like you.”

Nick snorted. “Except Holly can’t cook.”

Holly simultaneously finished her second taco and flipped her brother off.

“Am I wrong?” he asked.

Holly swallowed and hopped up from the stool, going to their fridge for a drink. “While I hate to admit it, no, you are not wrong.”

Noel snapped her fingers. “You could play the drums.”

“Meh,” Holly said.

“Cosplay?” Nick offered.

“I said easy, not spending hours on make-up and costuming! I’m trying to get away from that.”

“I’m tapped, then. I sing for a small audience and that’s enough for me. I’d shit myself singing for hundreds of thousands of fans on social media. Hand me a cola too, please.”
