"Can I ask you something?" I asked, turning myself towards her.

"Anything,"

"What happened to Issac's parents?"

"Has he talked to you about that?" She asked. I shook my head. "Hm, I shouldn't be the one to tell you that story. But I will say that Issac's father was my older brother."

"I can kinda see the resemblance," I said with a smile. She smiled back and then cleared her throat.

"Issac will tell you when he's ready, babe," she said, putting her hand on my knee and rubbing it. I smiled and nodded.

"Excuse me, lady?" We heard a little voice say. We both turned our attention to a line of kids.

"Well, time to get back to work," Doll smiled, standing.

It's been a few hours, and the sun has set. Doll and I finished picking up and packing away her booth. "Job well-done darling," Doll said, holding her hand up for a high five. I high-five her with a smile.

"Lovely night tonight, isn't it?" I heard a distant voice say. I turned to see Issac walking up to us. He had a massive smile on his face.

"Where have you guys been all day?" Doll asked before he could say anything more.

"Dunk tank," he said, pointing to his hair that was soaking wet.

"Ah, gotcha," Doll said with a laugh. He shook his head and looked at me.

"Can I steal you?" He asked.

"Uh, sure. We just finished up here, so" Before I could finish, he grabbed my hand and began pulling me away.

"Be Careful!" Doll yelled. He waved his hand as he began picking up the pace.

"You do realize I'm in heels, right?!" I shouted. Issac stopped and turned towards me, then back around and squatted.

"Jump on," he said, holding his arms out.

"What?" I asked, confused.

"Hurry up, jump on."

"Issac, I'm way too bi-" Before I could finish my sentence, he cut me off.

"Delilah, you better jump on before I throw you over my shoulder."

"Say no more," I said and lightly climbed onto his back. The leather of his cut made my jeans slip so that I couldn't get a grip. He finally grasped me and began trotting away with me on his back.

"Where are we going?" I asked.

"Shh,"

"Alright,"

He ran into the building Doll pointed to earlier. It was the gym. Issac turned and headed through a hallway that was passing the locker rooms, then turned down another hallway towards stairs going up. He began climbing them. Jesus, he's strong. I held on tighter, also trying to choke him. We made it to the top of the stairs and let me down. He grabbed my hand again and pulled me towards a door. He opened it. It opened to a roof. The roof looked over the entire field where the fundraiser was being held. The sun had set.

"Issac, what are we doing up here?" I asked, looking around.

"C'mere," he said, pulling me over to a half wall. "Sit."

"Okay?" I said, questioning what was going on. He stood behind me.
