"Someone better spill, or I'm gonna lose my mind," Issac said, trying to stay calm. He looked between Doll and I, waiting for one of us to speak up. Doll walked past Issac, standing next to me.

"If you don't tell him, I will," she whispered. I turned and glared at her. I shook my head in protest.

"Fuck," I muttered, crossing my arms over my chest. I took a deep breath. "I caught Evelyn and Isaiah in the storage closet…. Doing stuff," I explained. Issac stared at me, shocked but also waiting for more information.

"That's why you're leaving?" He asked. Doll elbowed my arm.

"I-I, look-"

"He threatened her. He said if she told anyone what she saw, he'd come after you," Doll spoke up for me. "He told her he will kill you, Issac.," Issac's face hardened, and his jaw clenched. He sighed and rubbed the back of his neck.

"This conversation can't leave this room," He explained.

"Yeah, no shit!" Doll yelled. She sat on the bed and rested her head in her hands.

"Fuck" Issac sighed. He walked over to me and turned me towards him. He wiped a tear from my cheek. "Look at me," he said, pulling my chin up. Our faces were close. "Nothing is going to happen to me. I promise. " I nodded in agreement, but I don't know if that's a promise he can keep. "We can't bring this up to anyone just yet, and we have shit to get done first. Let's just pretend we don't know shit."

"I'm leaving in the morning," I spoke up. "I'm waiting to hear from my cousin."

Issac sighed. "Delilah, you don't have to leave."

"But I do."

"No, stop. Just listen. A fundraiser is happening this weekend. The club always goes and helps. We set up the games and shit for the kids, bringing food and drinks. It's at the school. Come, please?" Issac asked, grabbing my elbow.

Doll stood up. "You can help me with the food, trust me. I need help, and I've seen what those hands can do," she laughed.

"Just stay until then, please? To help Doll," Issac asked again. I took a few seconds to think. Is this a good idea? Or bad? Would Isaiah do something?

"He's not going to do anything. We're gonna pretend we don't know anything. He won't be alarmed, and he'll be distracted at the fundraiser, anyway. Other clubs are going to be there," Issac explained.

"Okay," I agreed. Both Doll and Issac smiled.

"Great, that means you can help her cook all day tomorrow, and I don't," Issac said, laughing. Doll punched his arm. "God damn! It was a joke, Jesus. I'll help a little" Doll shook her head and walked over to me.

"Get some sleep, babe. It'll be okay," she said, kissing my forehead. She made her way to the door. "Night twerp," she said to Issac. He laughed, shaking his head as she walked out. Issac and I stood in silence for a moment.

"I'm gonna head to bed," I said, walking to my packed bags to grab some pajamas. Issac grabbed my arm, stopping me.

"I mean it, Del; I promise everything will be okay," He said. I nodded. He then pulled me into a hug. We hugged for a minute or two. I let go and placed my hands on his chest and looked up at him, and he looked down at me. He cupped my cheek and closed the distance between us. Oh shit.

Our lips connected. He tasted sweet, and his free hand gripped my waist. Issac quickly pulled away suddenly.

"Shit, I'm sorry," he said, stepping back from me.

"No, no, it's okay," I said, walking toward him. I grabbed his hand, and he froze, looking at me. He gave me a small smile.

"Goodnight, Del," he said, pulling me in to leave a kiss on my forehead.

The next day was filled with grocery shopping, cooking, and club drama. I didn't tell Doll about the kiss from last night, but it lingered on my lips all day. Also, I still haven't replied to Nathan. I don't even know how to handle that situation.

Doll and I were in the clubhouse kitchen cutting up stuff for a veggie platter when we heard yelling.

"What the fuck is the problem now?" Doll groaned. She wiped her hands on a towel and then tossed it onto the counter. She walked out to the bar area, and I followed close behind.

"Fuck you! You stupid whore!" We heard, followed by glass shattering as we walked in. I soon recognized who the yells were coming from. Kat and Destiny are both Issac's exes. Of course. Some guys were getting them away from each other before they tore everything apart, including themselves.

"I beg your fucking pardon!" Doll hollered. "What the fuck do you two think you are doing to my fucking bar!?"
