He dropped the pipe as Whit, Charlie, and Irish grabbed fuel cans and started soaking the place in gasoline.

When he made it to me, I said, “You came for me.”

“Always come for you, darlin’, always.” I smiled and then everything went black.

Chapter 12

Pipe

Seeing her eyes roll in the back of her head, that was something I never wanted to see again.

Hell, I didn’t even think I could watch her do it when I bring her to climax again without remembering this moment.

And when I saw her about to drop to the floor, I dove for her. But I shouldn’t have worried because Coal swept her up in his arms.

As my brothers set the warehouse on fire, I ran to the club truck and climbed in as Coal transferred my entire world to my arms.

Pagan climbed into the front seat of the truck and with the others climbing on their bikes, we raced to the hospital.

I hadn’t worried about where her father and his men were.

Hell, I had been shocked as shit when he stepped out of his car at the clubhouse and only had to take one look at my face before he nodded, and simply said, we will follow you.

Just as that thought entered my head when we saw the hospital up ahead, the woman that meant everything to me started to seize in my arms.

I didn’t have to say a word to Pagan as he swerved around the brothers and sped to the hospital, daring anyone to not move, or else they would get plowed the fuck over.

As soon as we entered the parking lot and raced to the entrance, I didn’t even wait for the truck to come to a stop, opening the door and running full tilt into the emergency room. I ignored the metal detectors that were beeping behind me as a nurse raced over to me and asked what happened.

“She was drugged about an hour ago. She lost consciousness about fifteen minutes ago, and she started seizing about two minutes ago.

She nodded and said something and in a flurry of activity a gurney was wheeled over as a doctor and another nurse swarmed us as I laid Gabriella on the gurney, lowering my head I placed a kiss on her forehead and watched as they raced with her through the cream-colored painted doors.

The next two hours were a whirlwind as I gave them her information and then sat in a hard plastic chair with my brothers, her father and his men, and the women while we waited.

And as the doctor I had seen earlier stepped through the doors, I stood and said a silent prayer.

Walking into Gabriella’s room behind the doctor, the moment I saw her sitting in the bed I raced around the doctor and was at her side in a split second.

At her side, I placed my hand on the other side of her head and leaned in and inhaled her sweet scent, while whispering, “Hey, darlin’.”

She chuckled softly and said, “Hey there, honey.”

She brought her finger to her lips and tapped it, telling me what she wanted.

Grinning, I accommodated her and brought my mouth to hers, not giving a damn that the doctor wanted to tell us both what was going on since she was awake and alert.

“Hi, Mrs. Childers, I doubt you remember my name, but I am Doctor Amallo. When we did the tox screen, we saw that you had a dose of chloroform in your system. Now normally once it's run its course, usually there are no lasting side effects. However, that isn’t the case for women in your condition.”

Gabriella scrunched her brows when she asked, “Condition? What do you mean?”

“Well, did you know you were pregnant?” He asked her, then looked at me.

And together we both shook our heads and I said, “She has an IUD.”

He nodded. “A certain number of things can cause the IUD to dislodge.” He cleared his throat and suddenly I knew what he meant.
