Zac didn’t text me back. He called me instead, and I answered my phone by asking him what he was doing.

“I just pulled away from Starbucks with a venti coffee and am about to go on over to my office. Is it a good time to talk?” he asked.

“Yes, it’s fine.”

“I figured if it wasn’t, then I’d get your voicemail.”

“No, really, it’s a perfect time to talk. It’s a treat getting to hear your voice again so soon.”

“Yours too. I’ve got you on speaker and your voice is all around me.”

“I will, and thank you.”

“You’re welcome. And hey, about your text… Tell me howyouknow ‘Code Blue’ first.”

“The movie Fifty Shades Darker.

“Same here.”

I was surprised. “You actually watched it?

“I did. All three movies.”

“I can’t believe what I’m hearing.”

“Why?”

“Those movies are chick flicks.”

Zac chuckled. “They’re guy flicks too.”

“So tell me what you got out of watching them.”

“A mental escape.”

“Don’t you mean a sexual escape?”

“Yes.”

“Were you alone when you watched them?
