Olly got to her feet and applauded where Feng’s bleary gaze could see her.

“Miss? They need you in the ring.” The runner looked scared and excited.

She followed him down, and the crowd parted for her as she walked toward the steps and then into the ring. Feng walked up to her and grabbed her, spinning her around. She tapped his bite guard, and he spit it out, causing a wave of laughter as she kissed him softly.

“Champion Zhang has a special presentation for tonight.”

Taio appeared next to him, and Benjiro on the other side.

He knelt, and the women in the audience gasped. “Olly Thorn, will you marry me?”

She smiled. “Do I have to spend much time with your grandmother?”

“Absolutely not. You are the most beautiful, patient, and gracious woman I have ever met. I let you get away the first time, but now, I want to keep you at my side forever and always.”

She stared. “Uh, yes?”

Taio handed Feng a ring, and he put it on her finger. He kissed it, and then she kissed him softly, and when she raised her head, he said, “One more thing.”

The announcer asked everyone to watch the screens, and music that had played for one entire day of her life played as snippets of her fight career were interspersed with her punching, kicking, and balancing in her designer outfit.

Then, she saw photos of her with Taio, Benjiro balancing her on his shoulders, and her holding Feng down with his arms above his head.

It finished with an early promo image of her with her hands wrapped next to a picture of her wearing the silk dress with her hair high. Ford had to be around here somewhere.

When the video was over, the words flared on the screen,Congratulations to Feng Zhang and Olly Thorn, members of the Thorn Thunder.

Feng was standing with his arm around her. “If anyone wonders how proud I am to be with you, that should settle it.”

She looked at him. “The Thorn Thunder?”

“We registered a pack name. Dragons group in thunders.” He grinned. Benjiro grinned. Taio looked like he was going to explode, he was so excited. Frankly, so was she.

Chapter Eight

“One small engagement party, and then we can ease away from my family if you want to. I swear.” Feng kissed the ring on her hand.

“There is something in your expression that says this won’t be small.”

He blushed. “Call on any of us if my grandmother comes near you.”

“Alita said she will help, and Nora said the same. Nora had a problem with her mate’s family, and she understands this.”

They walked around the house of the Rose Sloth, and Olly stared at the sea of faces. “Oh, shit.”

Smiling and cheering began as their group walked into the party. Hands were shaken, and music started. Olly was introduced to the aunts and Feng’s mother first, and they all grinned and hugged her. She smiled and tried to remember names.

Alita brought her to Lexa and said, “This is your Auntie Lexa. These are her new babies, and that is your cousin Hailey.”

Hailey looked from her mother to Olly, then she asked, “Are you an omega?”

“No, Hailey, I am not, and I am very proud of that.”

“Why? Omegas are the best. Everyone knows it.” She lifted her chin. “I am an omega.”

“Hailey! We have been through this.” Lexa sighed. “I am sorry. The cousins spoil her.”

Olly crouched to Hailey’s side. “Well, Hailey. When I grew up, there were three sisters, and only one of them was an omega. Her parents loved her and spoiled her.”
