Polly grinned, turned, and sank, so the water was up to her chin.

Olly snickered. “What was that sound?”

“I have no idea, but the image of me getting a spanking flashed in my mind, so I am laying low.”

“Wait. He’s in your head?”

“Pictograms mainly. I can do the same to him.” Polly smiled.

They talked and giggled and floated around each other. Polly looked at Olly. “You want to go and have a chat with Molly, don’t you?”

“I am in the mood for a fight, and her alphas never disappoint.”

“Oh. Maybe just go for a jog or something?”

Olly nodded. “Maybe.” She looked at her sister. “Do you mind?”

“Nope. Go ahead. Jiji will go find you if you are out too long.”

Olly smiled. “Thanks.” She got up, wrapped herself in a towel, and went to where the robes were hanging. She slipped the robe on and took the towel off before sashing the robe closed.

She towelled her hair dry and stumbled. A ball of fire struck her in the back, and she was dry in seconds. She turned back to look at the innocent expression on Feng’s face. “Enjoying yourself?”

He smiled. “Playing is new to me. I think it will be fun to have a mate.”

She sighed and headed inside, pulling her hair into a thick braid as she walked. Five minutes later, she was dressed to exercise and actually happy about it. She carried her shoes out to the steps and put them on. She hadn’t just run in so long that she felt the energy in her legs in anticipation. She got up and stretched lightly before taking off at a jog and listening to the gravel under her feet. She kept her passenger in mind and just ran down the drive and along the tree line.

Her run lasted forty-five minutes, and she was sweaty when she returned to the house. She rounded a corner and walked up to the steps where her alphas and beta were waiting for her. “Uh, hey.”

“Olly, did you tell any of your alphas where you were going?” Benjiro was wearing one of the night robes that Polly had mentioned.

“Uh, no. Well, Polly knew I was going for a run, but even I didn’t know where until I found a path.” She wanted to stretch but suddenly didn’t want to move.

Feng growled and her knees buckled.

Taio looked between them. “What is going on here?”

Olly shrugged. “I don’t know. I felt twitchy, so I went for a run. Now, I feel better.”

Benjiro beckoned to her, and she came closer. He caught her and pulled her into his arms. “So, you thought a pregnant, unmarked beta could just go running around without letting her alphas know where she is?”

She twisted her lips. “It sounds bad when you say it like that.”

“It sounds stupid. You are not stupid.”

She looked up at him. “Uh, so I go take a shower and think about what I have done?”

“Or one of us can mark you, and then we will know where you are.”

“Uh. The first. I like my suggestion.”

“No. I am fairly sure that you like to push yourself, so choose which one of us will mark you.”

She froze. “Seriously?”

“Seriously.”

“Can you both get it over with?” She frowned.
