He continues, “…but finding a nanny who truly loves her and understands her whims and conditions is proving a tad difficult.”

“You're correct,” I say as I take my seat again on the couch, my heart pounding as I wonder what he's getting at.

“Not only do I want a tutor for my daughter, but also a nanny. If you can be that for her, then I can rethink taking you on again.”

I think fast because I know he's waiting for me to make a decision.

“I can be both of those for her. I am familiar with her curriculum, and she has always shown great interest in the arts. I'm certain I will do well nannying her as well as educating her.”

“Why don't you come over this evening? I'm scheduled to interview a couple of candidates, but I might not have to do that if you agree to meet today.”

“I have some free time on my hands,” I tell him truthfully.

“Great. Let's make it dinner.” He decides casually. “7 p.m.”

I swallow as I am suddenly thrust back into the memory of the dimly lit office and Sebastian's curious hands.

“Okay,” I agree, pushing the memory to the back of my mind and trying to focus on the conversation at hand. I'm experiencing an odd feeling, like I am setting myself up to watch myself fail.

“Great. See you later, Paislee.” He tells me and hangs up.

I breathe out a sigh of relief. That wasn’t too difficult. I am glad I made the call. Now, all that's left is to find something suitable to wear and hopefully try to resist Sebastian’s charms.

Five hours later, I am once again stepping into Sebastian's house. This time, it isn't the kind-looking woman from the first day that ushers me in. Callie does so with an excited giggle.

“I didn't know you were coming.” She says, looking surprised but happy to see me, which I take as a good sign.

“Your father and I only made arrangements today to meet and converse over dinner.”

“About what?” She asks curiously as she begins to lead me toward the vast living room.

I momentarily wonder if it is okay to tell the young girl about the possibility of being her nanny. Seeing as Sebastian had sounded positive over the phone, I don't see why not.

“Your father and I intend to talk about the possibility of me becoming your next nanny and hopefully, tutor.”

Callie shrieks.

“That would be so cool! The others were so mean.”

I pause.

“They were?”

“Yes.” Callie nods. “And they didn't understand me at all. The first one loved to ruffle my hair. I hated that and told her time and time again how much I hated to be touched.”

I chuckle. I had learned about Callie's hatred for physical affection early on and managed to keep it to a minimum with her.

“I'm sorry about that.”

“Well, I'm not sorry she left.”

“Callie!” I gasp. We burst into laughter, dropping onto the white spotless couch.

Just then, the door rattles. While Callie jumps in excitement, my heart leaps. I find myself brushing my hair back and attempting to look put together.

Sebastian steps into the room, looking a little tired but fetching all the same. He’s wearing a long-sleeved t-shirt and slacks, I swallow. I've never seen him in anything other than a tuxedo. I find myself wondering what he would look like in a simple t-shirt and jeans.

When my eyes lock on his, I find them filled with amusement. Those lips I have been trying not to obsess about curve in a gorgeous smirk.

How does he make everything look so good?

“Hello, Paislee.” He drawls.

Damn. I’m about to spend the coming months trying to prove to myself and my pulsing clit that I don't want Sebastian to fuck me six ways from Sunday.
