Page 95 of When We Feel

I also realize this is dangerous territory. But I like danger. Especially now.

I fill my lungs with his scent while he kisses the top of my head, and I can’t stop thinking about how far away we’ve gotten from each other, how we’ve morphed into two strangers, and how this is so much better.

A few silent, secret happy tears stain his shirt before he slides his fingers into my hair and kisses me.

The more he does it, and I breathe him in, the more I recognize him and promise myself not to panic again.

He drags his hands down, pushes the top of my dress to my waist, and brings my hair to the front to cover my breasts.

We’re still on the terrace with people roaming down below when he wraps me in his arms and locks my lips again.

I indulge in everything without saying a word.

His kiss is different, introducing a gentler man to me.

He is different than the man charmed by the starry nights, finding pleasure in sharing me with his friends.

He is also different than the man who’s talked me into this deal and turned my world upside down.

He kneads my chest softly while kissing me, and I slowly turn and prop myself against the railing while he moves his hands past my waist and to my hips, igniting trails of pleasure.

He breaks the kiss before flicking his head toward the place and speaking.

“Music…” he says, and instrumental music starts to play.

A soft sound of a saxophone, a piano, and guitars.

He kisses me again, playing with my hair, stroking my neck, and pressing me into him.

And I come to life, receiving his offering and responding, showing him a different woman as well.

She’s new to him. And she’s new to me.

She is naked to her waist, enveloped in his kisses and her hair, running her fingers over his neck and chest, reveling in the feel of his skin beneath her touch. Going hungry for his body and emotions.

She kisses his neck and unbuttons a couple of buttons before he stops her and grips her wrist, talking to her.

And he talks differently to her.

“I want to do something first.”

She says yes. And I watch them interact, taking the back seat, not knowing what to expect, and also optimistic about what to expect.

I think they’re great together. And I think she knows him better than I know him. I think he likes her a lot.

His eyes glint when he gets her approval, so he tilts his head, leaves a kiss on her lips, and flicks her hard nipples with his fingers before lowering his head even more and sucking on her tits.

She arches her back, thrusts her chest out, and spreads her arms over the railing before fanning her fingers over the concrete and propping her backside against the balustrade.

The ocean glints behind her, and the street clamors with life.

People drive into the night, searching for their own places of pleasure. Hopeful to meet their fate or share a hedonistic moment with a stranger.

She knows all that while feeding on the pleasure flowing from his touch. And he knows that too, tasting her with immense delight.

Neither of them is ready to move the party inside, and neither seems to rush.

What will happen tonight remains to be seen.
