He looked around the room, but no one had anything to say.

“Does that mean everyone is on track?” Toni asked.

Joni spoke up. “The specialist we spoke of yesterday will be here in two days for his final interview. While we are gathering a list of people that he may be interested in for his team, and we have also found and reserved a place for him to live, until we know if he is going to take it or not there's really not much more that we can do.”

“Good job to you and your team.” Ranger praised. “If you are temporarily waiting until you can move forward, why don't you divide your team up between fencing and the second park. Those in the second park can get a list from us before they leave so they know the general areas that they will be able to work in. Anyone have anything else to mention or are we ready to get out there and get on our projects?”

“We will divide up and get on our work.” Joni said.

“Very good. We all need to get to work. Toni and I will be going out to the park in one vehicle, add two more teams who will divide between two more vehicles and we will meet at the park where we will decide who is covering what portion of it. Does everyone understand?”

Everyone indicated that they understood and now those that had been put on their team followed them out to the vehicles that were waiting. It wasn't that odd if the supervisors would choose to go together because on the way there, they would be discussing the exact assignment for each of the other two groups.

“Do you think we'll be out here enough that we should set-up an office or some kind of building where we can meet as a group and make decisions?”

“That wouldn't be a bad idea but what of the building that is already on there?” Toni asked.

“It holds two bathrooms a kitchenette and a small table. That would not be comfortable for six people. The intention was to use the bathrooms for those working and those visiting, and the office would not need to hold more than two people at any given time.”

“Would you be speaking of the guards or rangers that would be assigned to this park?”

“Yes, that's exactly what I mean. There's already a guard working here, and a ranger will be added as soon as we have time to interview and hire one. The bathrooms are currently being used by those building the fences as well as the guard and anyone who visits like we do.”

“If you were planning to build more buildings, then building one we could use in that way would not be an added cost it would just be money spent earlier. I could see the value of setting it up as a Conference Center. That would also give you a place for groups going through to discuss the dangers and other things with.” Toni agreed.

She was right about that too because they might have people come through that set-up tours like these and they would want to see everything that would be available to a visitor. He wasn't sure if they would go through third parties or if they would set-up their own personnel to sell the tours. That was just one more thing they had to decide. The other vehicles pulled up behind them and they all got out while they were on this side of the fence to discuss where everyone would go. They would meet back up in time for lunch and go back to the resort so they could have a working lunch.

He and Toni had once more had a good day where they had accomplished much or at least a good first half to their day. Everyone headed out behind him, and they met up at the resort. When he arrived, his PA passed him a note. It seemed his investigator had some news for him, and it was not good. Zaya was a plant, and it seemed the mob guy from Las Vegas was stupid enough to try to come after them here in their own country.

Zaya was a girlfriend he had on the side that was trying to prove her abilities to him. She was very greedy and not happy with being a pampered girlfriend. It was not that she wanted to give that up, but she also wanted a salary as a prized associate. All he could say was that she was greedy and never happy with what she had.

This was not a complication he had needed. Toni and her brother had been terrorized by these people and if she found out about them, he didn't know what she would do. What he did know was that nothing would move forward between them because she would be so upset. Ranger wrote back a note for the new investigator. He wanted him to track down that part of the mob and either intercept some of the written communications or record some of the verbal ones. Last time he had gone after them he had found out how important it was to have clear proof. Without evidence little could be done unless he fell back to the laws of his people. If they did that, if they were caught it wouldn't serve them well.

He put his attention back to the meeting and was glad to see that Toni had moved it forward. They were accomplishing things and figuring out what their people should do this afternoon and tomorrow. As important as it was to keep up with your people and know what they are doing, meeting every day was too much because they needed some time so they could manage the projects and move forward.

It was his hope that his investigator would get him what he needed and that he could figure out something to do with Zaya that would be acceptable. She might end up being the first prisoner in the prison they had not even built yet. Being a U.S. citizen would not protect her from the laws of his land. He had noticed that that was a failing in many of the Americans he had met. They seem to feel that they did not have to abide by the laws of the land they were in. Zaya was about to get a surprise and it wouldn't be long because he wanted to act on this as quickly as possible.

His attention had wandered once more and now he pulled it back to what was going on now. Ranger saw they had come up with a list of potential attractions to draw people into the park. They had another list of possible ways to deal with dangers so that people would be safe when they came into the park. This was more than he had expected them to get done so he dismissed them early. Toni stayed because she seemed to realize as part of the team leaders she wouldn't always go home when the rest of them did.

“Anything on the list that you don't believe would work?”

“No, but I think some of them need to be slated for later and not done immediately.” Toni admitted.

“I can see a few that we should wait on. We've got a lot done today so why don't we go see a movie and then have supper. If anything occurs to us, we can discuss it.”

It was true that their relationship wasn't flying forward but it was moving forward. She was no longer hesitant about a kiss or a hug. Anytime he asked her to do something she usually agreed. Today, instead of an Earth movie, He showed a documentary from home. This was about when the rogues had been initially defeated. They had pieced together several sections of film starting with when one of the kings had tried to take out the emperor. All of it had been caught by several cameras in the meeting room.

Even though it was graphic and pretty horrific it probably wouldn't bother someone who thought it was a movie. The next part it showed was when they had gone to that king’s kingdom and had taken out anyone that stood in their way. There had been someone narrating it as it moved along. At the end it showed all the improvements in the kingdom under the new king and queen. The progress there had been amazing.

“What kind of movie was that?”

“It was made in the form of a documentary. Did you not like it?” Ranger asked.

“I did. It seemed so real. At the start I could practically feel the bad dragon burning. I don't know how they managed that special effect. I've never seen a movie made like that.”

“I'm glad you enjoyed it. There are very few movies like that being made but it is similar to some of your war correspondents documentaries. Not all of them were actual action some of them were made with simply clips from pictures taken. I would think that would make it easier to give the impression of realism.”

“Yeah, if you had some real dragons to work with. What about the locations? Are those pictures of the castle and the surrounding area real?” Toni asked.
