“I love this song, it’s my favorite.” She whisper-screamed as she sat across the booth from me.
I smiled as I sat back watching her. I motioned for one of the servers ordering myself another drink. The lyrics of the song caught my attention and I smirked. It was ‘Maybe’ by Teyana Taylor. She slid out of the booth and began to move her body in an even more sensual way, I couldn’t help but watch. Damn! I slid out of the booth downing my drink then I reached in my back pocket pulling bills out of my wallet and dropped it on the table. I moved closer to Monroe and as she felt me behind her, she moved her body closer to mine. I pulled my bottom lip into my mouth trying to concentrate, I had to get her back to where she was staying.
I wrapped my arm around her waist leaning in to whisper in her ear, “We have to go Roe.”
She shuddered and then she turned around to face me. She looked up at me with a pout on her face.
“Do we have to? I was just beginning to have fun.” Her pout deepened. Damn even her pout was sexy.
“Yes. Let’s go.”
“But Dom…” She whined.
I looked up to the ceiling knowing the liquor was getting through my system as well.
“Monroe, don’t…” I warned her. She was tempting and if she kept on looking at me like this then all bets would be off. I was trying to be a gentleman here.
Her pout didn’t change but she nodded. She slipped her small hand into my bigger one and let me lead her out. When we got outside, she spoke up, “I hope you’re not driving when you’ve been drinking as well?” Her accent deepened a bit.
“No, I’m ordering us an Uber and there it is.”
She didn’t say anything else as the Uber driver pulled up and we got in.
“Where are you staying Roe?” I turned to look at her and she was staring at our joined hands. “Roe?” I called out to her again.
She looked up at me with such sadness in her eyes, it shook me.
“Can I go with you? I don’t want to be alone.”
“Roe…” I called out to her.
“Please, Dom. I can’t…”
How could I ever say no to her?
