Later that morning,I was giddily waiting for the limo to arrive.
Standing outside in the early morning was refreshing, and it made my mind clearer. I was nervous about what Zaff would think once he discovered that I was a virgin and that I had zero experience whatsoever.
Finally, the limo arrived, and I took a deep breath as I walked towards it. Suddenly, I saw Chad coming out of the backseat and opening the door for me.
Oh my god, the alphas were already here.I thought I’d have some time alone in the limo, and we’d go to the beach once I got to their house.
I guess it made better sense this way.
“Hey, Breanna,” said Chad with a gracious smile.
“Hi,” I said, biting the inside of my cheek. He was treating me like a normal person, regardless of all the knotting that was going to happen to me. Not like the monstrously hungry alphas I daydreamed about all night.
He seemed polite and gentlemanly as I went into the limo. Inside was Ruston, also sitting in the limo, so I sat next to him while Chad sat on my other side. They were both wearing hats, sunglasses, and colorful shirts with shorts.
I smoothed my lime green dress over my thighs.
“You look cute,” complimented Ruston, turning his head to look at me.
“Thanks,” I said confidently, even though I was feeling all jittery inside.
But I knew once my dress was off, I would be a nervous wreck when they all gazed at my naked body.Were they all going to take me all at once? Or was each alpha going to take his time with me?
All of these unanswered questions wreaked havoc within me.
“Did you sleep well?” asked Chad.
I was very aware of their bodies close to mine in the tiny space. Alphas were much bigger than ordinary human men, so they took up a lot of space. I felt small between them and also very sensitive to how our arms were nearly touching.
“I did,” I said. “How about you?”
“I barely got any sleep,” said Chad, turning to me.
“Aww, how come?”
“I was very distracted the moment that Zaff announced that you signed the contract.”
My face warmed, and I looked down, nervously playing with the edge of my dress.
“I did it for protection,” I said quickly in a low voice. “For my family.”
“We know,” he said. “He made that clear to us, and we’re not judging you at all. We just want you to feel comfortable.”
Letting out a sigh of relief, I was glad they were taking things slow before double-knotting me upside down or something.
“Where is everyone else, though?” I asked.
“It’ll only be us,” Ruston answered. “The others are working, so we decided to take you out first.”
“But I have work to do at the house,” I said.
“You’ll get paid if you’re spending time with us,” said Chad quickly. “Don’t worry about money.”
I stared out the window in between our conversations since I was very aware of how they were looking at me. Once, during the ride, I accidentally made eye contact with Ruston, and I nearly fainted by the hunger I saw deep in his eyes for me.
When he grasped my hand, I nearly jumped, but I stayed still while he inspected my fingers.
“You don’t have a ring on your finger,” he observed, his warm fingers sliding through mine as he curiously held my hand in his.
