"Uh, I believe so."

"I need it."

Alejandro pulled his cell phone out of his pocket and dialed a number on it. "Hugo, go find Delancy's laptop and bring it to my office. It should be in his stuff."

Once he hung up, he set the phone down on the desk and then looked at me. "Why do you need your laptop?"

"I'm going to show you what I can do."

I grinned when Alejandro's eyes narrowed. "You want to know about Martinez, right? Know his moves, where he is, and what he might be planning?"

"Yes."

"Well, I might be able to get you some of that information."

"How?"

"People are stupid and people who think they are geniuses are really stupid."

"I don't follow," Alejandro said.

"Martinez probably thinks he is smarter than you and that he is going to pull one over on you, right?"

"Probably," Alejandro agreed.

"In my experience, people that like that think they are untouchable." I leaned forward on the desk and lowered my voice just a bit. "I can assure you, they are not."

"I'll be the first to admit that I am not that computer literate. My strengths rest more on the physical side of things, but from what you have told me, it seems like you are saying that you can dig up dirt on Martinez and possibly be able to tell if he is staying here in the city."

"That is exactly what I am telling you." That was the easy part. "But I also think I will be able to figure out if he intends on staying here or if he really plans to retire and go back to Columbia."

Before I could say more, there was a knock on the door and then it opened and Hugo walked in with my laptop. I made grabby hands for it, almost desperate to get my baby back.

As soon as I had it, I set it on the desk and opened it up. "Do you have an internet connection set up here yet?" I asked as I started it up.

"Yeah, it’s wireless."

"Perfect." While I waited for it to boot up, I pulled out my cell phone and called a couple of my friends, putting us all in a group chat. Thank god it had been returned to me after the ceremony.

"Hey, guys," I said once the line connected.

"I thought you were getting married, Delancy."

"I did," I replied. "In fact, I am sitting here with my new husband now."

There was a slight gasp. I wasn't sure who it came from until Jazz said, "Oh, hello, Mr. Delancy."

"Alejandro."

"Oh, nice accent," Osaka said.

I waved my hand at my phone. "Alejandro, meet my friends, Jazz and Osaka."

"Hello," Alejandro said.

"So, guys, I need your computer kung fu."

"Target?" Jazz asked.
