“We’re going to win Wren back!” Dash answered.

“But she doesn’t want you!”

I shoved the doors open, determined to go no matter what happened.

“She does want him. She just doesn’t know it yet!” Dash shouted.

I heard Lock’s boots on the ground as he rushed to my side. “Are you sure about this?”

“I can’t stop thinking about her,” I answered.

“But what about Miranda?”

I scoffed. “It wasn’t going to happen. Besides, I’m pretty sure that boat sailed when she saw me tied up with Lee using me as a whipping post.”

“So, I won the bet?” he said excitedly.

“I can’t go to her looking like this,” I snapped at myself. “I look like…” I spun and stared at the motley crew behind me. “I look like the rest of you!”

“He’s right,” Lock nodded. “We need Juliette.”

He got on the phone with her as I started walking back to the house. I left my bag there, and then there was my mother’s engagement ring. I wasn’t sure I was ready to use it, but I had to go out there with something on hand. It was small by most rich people’s standards. Hell, she’d probably throw it in my face…or cry because of how small it was. But my mother wanted me to give it to the woman I loved.

I gasped, bending over and sucking in air. The woman I loved. “Holy shit.”

“He’s having a heart attack!” Dash shouted. “Get him an ambulance.”

“Nope, he’s freaking out,” Cash said, yanking me upright. “Look into my eyes. You’ve got this. Just breathe.”

“I love her.”

“Well, no shit,” he muttered. “If you didn’t love her, you wouldn’t be flying back out to see her.”

“No, I mean…I thought I loved her. I knew deep down it might be real, but I just admitted it to myself.”

“Yeah, love’s a bitch.” He slapped me on the shoulder. “Now, buck up. We have things to do.”

I nodded and took a deep breath, then stood tall and forced myself to move. I could do this. “Pack a bag. Get the ring. Put on nicer fucking shoes.”

“That’s not the list I would make,” Dash muttered. “I’m pretty sure I’d throw in take a shower and bring barf bags.”

“You think he’s gonna be sick?” Cash asked.

Dash shook his head. “Scottie used the last of the barf bags on the plane. It’s time to restock.”

“Yeah, he can’t arrive smelling like puke.”

“Exactly, which is why I said there are other things to be concerned about.”

I took off again, needing to concentrate on what I had to do. It was only once I reached the house that I realized there was a small army of men behind me, all of them stomping into the house behind me.

“He’ll need water,” Cash shouted. “Make sure you pack enough!”

“I’ve got his shoes!” Dash yelled, skidding into my room and tossing them in a new duffel.

“No, this won’t work,” Lock said, staring at my suits. “Juliette! I need you to get Emilio on the line! We need a new suit!”

“I’ve got the facial cream!” Quinn shouted, running into my room. She tossed it in my bathroom travel kit, then took out the one in there.
