Epilogue

Cherry

Knock knock.

Who’s there?

Juicy.

Juicy who?

Juicy that lady’s rack.

Eight months later…

“Bitch!! You’re getting married!!” Jade squeals, her arms banding around me until I can’t breathe.

“Watch the stomach!” I squeal, tilting my body to the right to avoid the now-pronounced bump.

“Sorry,” she smiles sheepishly. “How are my niece and nephew?” She bends down and puts her ear to my stomach.

“Kicking. A lot.”

“Only three more weeks, then they’ll be here, and I can’t wait.”

It’s been eight months since my first date with my fiances, and it turns out that stuffing me full of their baby gravy one night was enough to knock me up with twins.

Tying me to them forever in a way none of us ever realized.

Lucas got eight months in prison, and we figured out that he was convinced I was going to take Braylen away from him. He was tired of his boss going on terrible dates and moping about it for weeks afterward, so he would scare them off before another could happen.

Tired of Braylen taking out his shit moods on him whenever one went bad. Making him work late and being a bigger asshole than usual.

Braylen regrets his actions. He gave me his black card as an apology because he blames himself, and of course, I went shopping with it.

We never got complete answers as to why he did what he did, though.

“Are you ready?” Jade asks, her bouquet in her hand and her sage green bridesmaid dress showing her matching smaller bump off.

“So ready.”

The wedding song starts up, and I try not to cry as I walk down the makeshift aisle to my men.

All four of them stand up front, tears shimmering in their eyes and shaky smiles as I walk towards them. Reaching the altar, I kiss my brother on the cheek and take Braylen’s hand.

We all decided that I would legally marry him, and while I wish I could marry them all, I’m just grateful I’m saying vows to all of them today.

“Do you, Cherry Knight, take Braylen Nunny to be your lawful wedded husband?” Our celebrant asks.

“I do.”

“And do you take Jacob and Macon Hunter and Brad Barfield to be your life partners?”

“I do,” I say shakily.

“And do you, Braylen Nunny, Brad Barfield, Macon, and Jacob Hunter, take Cherry Knight to be your lawfully wedded wife and devoted life partner?”

“We do.” They all say in unison.
