“I have never met a prince. So I don’t know how else to treat them. I would treat a prince just like any other person,” said Fiona. “I have worked at a golf club before. Most of our customers were rich people. I am not intimidated by people in a different social class from myself,” she added. She had worked with some very arrogant and rude rich people. They always treated the staff like crap. However, Fiona was not easily intimidated. She had never been around a prince but that was not going to scare her off. She was up for the challenge, especially since the job paid well.

“The right person for the position would need to have no criminal record, and I would need character references from previous employers,” said Lady Agaiby.

“That would not be a problem in my case. I have never been arrested nor have I been fired.”

“I should also let you know that the job requires relocation to El Saad,” said Lady Agaiby.

“Oh.” Fiona raised her eyebrows. It had not mentioned that in the online advertisement. It was her first time leaving New York and going to Connecticut. She had never left New York before. Now Lady Agaiby was talking about leaving the country.

“You are not willing to relocate?” Lady Agaiby asked.

“I don’t know. I have never considered it. It would mean moving away from my country to go to a completely different country and environment.”

“The monthly salary is $5,000. If you can do a good job and not quit, you will receive a bonus of $3,000 for each month that you stay with my grandson,” the older lady replied. Fiona raised her eyebrows. The idea of a bonus sounded good. She especially wanted a high salary because she wanted to save money for tuition. She had always wanted to attend college but did not have the money. A bonus of $3,000 on top of a monthly salary of $5,000 sounded pretty good to her.

“I am confident that I can do a good job,” Fiona replied.

“Once again, I will warn you that he is very difficult, stubborn, intimidating and short-tempered. I need a person that will be committed and can do the job,” said Lady Agaiby. Fiona nodded.

“Absolutely,” she replied. Lady Agaiby looked at Fiona for a moment and did not say anything. Fiona was not sure what was going through her mind.

“You are hired,” she finally said. Fiona’s eyes widened.

“Oh my God,” she whispered. She had never been hired on the spot for a job before. Lady Agaiby smiled at her.

“My secretary will contact you with further details.”

Fiona smiled and nodded. “Thank you so much. You will not regret this,” she said.

“I hope so.”

“Thank you for having me.” Fiona rose to her feet. The lady that Fiona had met earlier quickly approached her.

“I will show you out,” she said to Fiona.

“Thank you,” Fiona replied. It had been the most unusual interview she had ever attended. It was at a house with royalty. She had never met anyone that was a member of a royal family. Fiona was definitely going to do some research on the Agaiby family when she arrived home. She wanted to know if Lady Agaiby was really the grandmother of the crown prince of El Saad. She also wanted to know more about the country that she had never heard of until now.
