"Stef, dude, are we leaving?" A younger guy arrives behind us, looking tipsy with wild dark blonde hair. It looks bleached, not natural. He's also good-looking. Maybe four or five years older than I am. "Matty, I've called the driver for you. You are heading back to Mom and Dad's place."

"What do you mean you called the driver? I'm riding with you obviously."

"Not tonight man," Stefano says, pulling me closer to his side.

"What the hell. You're ditching me? The night is still young. You were supposed to party with me."

"Not tonight Matty," Stefano says, his eyes piercing into the younger guy.

Matty looks bitter about whatever is going on.

He huffs as the driver pulls up and Stefano opens the door for him.

"I'll see you at lunch tomorrow," Stefano says, closing the door once Matty is inside.

Matty doesn't respond.

The car drives off and I can't resist asking. "Who is Matty?"

"Matteo. He's my half brother. I promised my folks I would keep an eye on him tonight. I don't like to leave him alone at the club."

"He looks mad at you. I didn't know you had other plans."

"No, don't stress. He always looks mad when he doesn't get his own way. He'll get over it." Stefano chuckles. "Come on, I'm parked right here." He slips his fingers through mine and leads me towards his matte black Mustang.

He opens the passenger door for me and holds out his hand so that I can get inside.

Princess treatment through and through. I grin to myself as he walks around the car to get into the driver's seat.

Stefano's mansion isn't too far from the casino and walking into it I am impressed with the interior design and layout. He is clearly a man of impeccable taste.

There is a black onyx chandelier hanging from the ceiling in the entrance foyer, and black marble floors. While the place looks masculine and pristine, it is still welcoming and comfortable. The living room has three big grey sofas that he invites me to sit down in while he prepares us each a drink. I sink into the cozy chair with my legs folded beneath me and can't help but watch his back as he stands near the built-in bar counter.

The muscles of his shoulders are pushing against the fabric of his shirt in enticing ways.

"Do you want some more champagne or some gin?"

"I'll have champagne, thanks."

He picks up a bottle of champagne and two glasses and carries it over to where we are sitting. He slides into the open space next to me, close enough so that our legs are touching.

After pouring us each a champagne he hands me my glass and says, "It has been really amazing meeting you tonight." Then he reaches out and traces his fingers over my jaw and I shiver in anticipation.

"You too," I murmur, feeling weak beneath his touch.

"You have the most gorgeous eyes. Like I am staring into the midnight sky." He says his voice deep and alluring.

Then he leans back a little and sips his champagne and my chin tilts towards him as though being pulled by his magnetism.

I bite my lower lip, trying to get a hold of myself, taking a sip of my champagne to distract myself from the gorgeous man in front of me.

"Stefano, I just wanted to say thank you again for the dress. It was really sweet of you to do that for me."

He grins and a mischievous glint in his eyes sets my heart racing.

"It looks amazing on you, but I have to be honest and let you know that I caught a glimpse of it off you, and I preferred that."

My mind flashes back to how cheeky I was in the office when I was changing, knowing he was watching me in the reflection.
