Gia raises her eyebrows at me, waiting to hear what we just said.

I turn towards Gia. "I'll walk you guys out to the car, but I'm going to stay a little longer," I say, not able to hide the smile on my lips.

Gia grins broadly. "Well, come on then, my beautiful bestie.

I feel my cheeks flushing slightly which is not something that happens to me often. I am not a person who blushes, but I guess he is making me feel a whole array of new things I've never felt before so I shouldn't be surprised.

Gia doesn't let go of my hand as we leave the VIP section, walk through the main dance floor which is still thrumming with dancing bodies and loud music, and head out of the club.

In the main section of the casino, she squeezes my hand too tight and laughs loudly.

"Oh, my word he is gorgeous." She says.

"Ow." I laugh, pulling my hand away from her. "I know right. My word."

"And that dress. He organized a dress for you. Are you kidding me? Who does that?"

"A gentleman." I shrug, my face glowing.

"Mm. Sure, a gentleman." Gia raises her brows toward me.

The other girls are giggling too. Sammy drapes her arm around my waist and staggers a little as she walks with me. Melina is holding onto Sammy on the other side.

Everyone is laughing and talking about Stefano, and I glance nervously around us, knowing we are talking loudly and that everyone who works here obviously knows him.

"Shh, guys, everyone here will know who you're talking about." I try to hush them, but Gia starts talking even louder than before.

"What… you mean the hot guy who owns this place?"

I jab her ribs and she squeals.

I am relieved when we get out of the casino to where the limo is waiting for them.

I am busy saying goodbye, giving each of them a big hug, and making sure they get safely into the limo when Stefano arrives.

He stands back for a moment, waiting for me to say goodbye to everyone, then once all the girls are in and busy talking loudly about if they should all go back to Gia's place; Stefano steps closer and I feel him put his jacket over my shoulders.

It's such a simple gesture, but one that sends a thrill through my heart.

He is a gentleman. He's been nothing but from the moment I met him.

I pull the collar of the jacket over my shoulders and turn to look at him. He's so much taller than me and the look in his eyes when he returns my stare makes me shudder. His eyes are an intense shade of brown and seem to be piercing right into my soul.

He wraps his arm around my shoulder. "Would you join me for a drink back at my place? I thought we could talk somewhere less noisy than the club."

"I'd love it." I don't even hesitate. I should, because I know who this man is, and if my father found out I was at his casino - never mind actually going home with him, there would be hell to pay. But everything about him pulls me in. If I said no to this invite, I would regret it for the rest of my life.

It's one of those moments when you know you've met someone you were supposed to meet for some reason. I was meant to come here tonight. I was meant to have that annoying Clarissa cause shit for me, and it was all because I was meant to meet Stefano.

Ok, before I get carried away, I know it's not love at first sight because I don't believe in that.

But it is something. And I am going to follow where my heart takes me on this one.

Even if it's just one amazing night of feeling really special. Because that is how he makes me feel. Very special.

It's the way he looks at me, as though I am the only girl he has ever looked at before, and as though I am the last girl he will ever look at.

I'm sure it's just my imagination because a man that good-looking probably can get any girl he wants - but tonight I don't care - I want to feel like the most beautiful girl in the world.
