“I love you, too, Mr. Rossi.”

Once we’re out of the courtroom, Hannah squeezes my hand. We haven’t let go since we walked in the door. “Should we call your family?”

“Yeah, I’d like that.”

I call Miceli and tell him our good news. He congratulates us, not sounding surprised in the least, and Alessia is there, too, because I hear her squeal of delight. They tell us to come over immediately because they’re going to throw us a big, celebratory feast. Even though I want to take my bride straight home and back to bed, I know she wants to celebrate. I suppose I can wait a little longer. Even though I’d much rather be skin to skin with Hannah.

“Stop!” She giggles.

“What?”

“That look you’re giving me!”

“What look?”

“Like you want to rip my clothes off.”

“I do,” I growl, sliding my hand over her ass and squeezing.

“Behave, Vincentius,” she reprimands me and tosses me a playful look.

“With you? Never.” I pull her up, tighten my arms around her and kiss her hard.

After we leave the courthouse, I drive us straight over to Miceli and Alessia’s. They live in a gorgeous penthouse, high above the city, and I think my anxiety over heights has gotten a little better. After nearly falling off that rooftop, being in here doesn’t feel too bad.

All of my siblings, along with Leo Amato and Gia DeLuca, are already there. They all congratulate us, showering us with hugs and endless good wishes. I notice that Leo and Gia look very cozy together and my nosy sister later confirms they’re seeing each other.

“How do you know everyone’s business, Lottie?” I ask her teasingly, nudging her arm.

“I can’t help it if I’m so trustworthy that everyone wants to confide their secrets to me.” She innocently bats her lashes and we all laugh.

For as quickly as Alessia and Miceli threw this party together, it turns out amazingly. They call in a favor from a friend who owns a nearby Italian restaurant and within two hours, the long dining room table is full of fresh, hot entrees. There’s also a delicious-looking cake with flowers on top. I’m in awe that they did this for us, much less did it all so fast. My family is truly the best.

I’m on my third glass of champagne, but notice Hannah is only drinking lemonade. “Anything I should know?” I joke.

“Just that champagne bubbles upset my stomach,” she tells me, snuggling closer.

The idea of Hannah having my baby thrills me to no end. Seeing her belly round and swollen with our child doesn’t scare me at all. In fact, it has quite the opposite effect. If I have my way, it won’t be long before we start our own family. I don’t want Hannah to ever feel alone again and I plan to give her as many children as her heart desires.

After eating far too much food, someone turns the music up and we’re all dancing and having a good time. Hannah and I share a slow dance and then the music speeds up. I watch as she dances and laughs with Alessia, Lottie and Gia. My angel has never glowed more brightly.

My brothers linger nearby and talk, and little Nico bounces around in his swing. Enzo nudges me with his elbow. “Never thought I’d see you this happy, bro.”

I can’t help but smile wider. “Thank you, Enzo. If you hadn’t given me your invitation, I never would’ve gone to that auction and met Hannah.”

“Well, I’m glad that kinky auction helped you find the love of your life.”

“What about you?” I ask. “Have any potential ladies caught your interest lately?” Now that I’m happily settled, I’d love to see the same happen for Enzo. Even Angelo and Carlotta, but they still have time. I can’t help but remember the way Enzo and Gabriella Bianche were looking at each other.

“Me?” He huffs out a sardonic chuckle. “I’m married to my job. You know that.”

“Yeah, and I’d sworn off women. Things change.”

But, he shakes his head. “No one special on my radar and seriously doubt there ever will be. You know me—love ‘em and leave ‘em.”

“I thought that was more Ang’s style.”

“Yeah, well, it’s mine, too. Work comes first then, if there’s time, I might play.” His phone starts vibrating and he pulls it out of his jacket, glances down at the caller ID and frowns.
