“My head hurts.” I groan as I slump to the floor, feeling like shit.

“I’ll order up some coffees for you two,” Rome says as he busily calls room service.

“I don’t think she’s going to roll over as easily as you hope she will,” Nico says, lazily hanging off the sofa.

“She looked pretty angry about it,” I say.

“She did. What happens if she calls your bluff on the photos?” he asks.

I shrug as my head throbs. “She won’t. Her image is more important to her.”

“Than her family?” Nico asks.

“She’s worked hard to build up her princess brand, she won’t destroy that,” I tell him.

Nico frowns. “You think her family is going to let her sacrifice herself for them?”

Probably not. From what I know of her father, he isn’t as cutthroat as mine. “Her father wants these hotels as much as mine does. They won’t let some wedding in Vegas stop them. I mean, Luca stood his fiancée up the day before the wedding. Gio’s fiancée was having an affair with his sister. Now everyone is happy families. They weathered those storms, they’ll weather this one, too.”

“Maybe a Conti-Fiorenzo wedding might be pushing it too far,” Nico says. He’s right again. It might be too much for them. “My concern is if she fights you. Are you prepared to stay married to her?”

“If that happens, I’m going to enjoy making her life hell until she finally gives in to me. I don’t lose, Nico. You know that,” I remind him.

“Be careful if Natalia fights back, I don’t think you’re ready for that kind of enemy,” he warns.

“Please, as if a princess like her can win against me.”

Nico gives me a look that says he doesn’t believe me.

Five days later

“Mr. Conti, Miss Fiorenzo is here to see you,” Paola, my temporary assistant, tells me.

“Send her in,” I say.

Moments later, the door to my office opens, and in walks Natalia, looking every inch the princess. It’s been almost a week since that fateful night, and I’ve been stalking her socials since. There were many images of her in the tiniest of bikinis at a pool party in Vegas. I may have rubbed one out to those pictures, remembering what that ass felt like against my cock. I’m not proud of myself, but I am only human. She then uploaded videos of her dancing around the pool where there were men hanging out around them. Not a good look for a married woman, Natalia, I mentally warn her. Not sure if she was doing it on purpose to annoy me or not, but if she was, it didn’t work. Happy, smiling photos of her and Savannah, enjoying their time in the VIP booths of whatever club they were out at—much to my brother’s annoyance as he stalked her friend, too. Romeo curses me for ruining whatever he had going between them. Pretty sure him attacking her best friend did more damage than anything I did. I thought I would have heard from her the next day with an answer, but judging from her social media, it was as if what happened between us in Vegas never existed. She didn’t look like she had a care in the world, and if I’m being honest, that disarmed me slightly.

So, I’m surprised she’s come to my office today. Natalia is dressed to impress, and I hate that my dick twitches beneath my suit pants as she strides in wearing a black designer suit. She’s wearing nothing underneath her suit jacket except for strings of diamonds that fall right between her breasts. Her brown hair is up in a high pony, and she has bright red lips, and all I can think about is them wrapped around my dick.

“Can I get you anything, sir?” Paola asks, ignoring Natalia as she takes a seat. She raises a brow at my gorgeous temporary assistant, and I can see the irritation on her face. If I wanted Paola, I could have her. She’s made it crystal clear that she is happy to stay behind and work overtime—on her knees since I’ve come back from Vegas—but I’m not interested.

“I’ll come find you later, Paola, if I need anything,” I tell her, making it sound like something more than it is. That’s going to come back to bite me, but seeing the annoyance on Fiorenzo’s face is worth it.

Natalia rolls her eyes and tries to appear bored, waiting for my assistant to leave. Paola glares at Natalia before closing the door behind her.

“Wifey, it’s been too long. You looked like you were having a lot of fun in Vegas after leaving me,” I tease, trying to get a reaction out of her.

“I had the best time, thanks for asking,” she bites back.

“You seem to have made some new friends by the pool, too,” I add.

Natalia raises a well-sculptured brow at me. “Didn’t realize you were watching. If I had known, I would’ve put on a show for you.”

“I don’t mind watching you putting on a show.”

Her eyes narrow on me. “Noted.”

“Can’t wait,” I answer her with a grin. We glare at each other for a couple of moments. “I’m assuming you’ve come here for a reason other than to say hi to your husband.”
