She crosses her legs and her arms. “I came here hoping you would have changed your mind regarding the annulment.”

“I haven’t. I’ve been perfectly clear in what I want,” I say, shaking my head. Natalia’s hands ball into fists. Oooh, she’s angry. “Have your brothers changed their minds about pulling out of the deal?”

“I haven’t asked them.”

This surprises me. “Why not?”

She frowns. “Because I was hoping if I gave you enough time to think about what you’re asking you’d realize it was a stupid idea.”

“It’s actually brilliant.”

Natalia glares at me. “You want to win this deal by default? Guess the only way a Conti could ever beat a Fiorenzo, is by us pulling out of the competition.”

Now it’s my turn to ball my hands into fists at her jabs. “Nice try on the reverse psychology, but I don’t have a fragile ego, unlike your brothers. A deal is a deal, however I get it. It doesn’t bother me in the slightest if we get the deal by default because, in the end, we have the hotels and that is all I care about.”

“Why are you being so stubborn?” she asks, raising her voice, letting her cool composure break. She’s so far out of her league, it’s cute.

“This is business, princess,” I tell her. Natalia rolls her eyes as she huffs and moans for a bit. “Guess we’re at a stalemate,” I say, shrugging my shoulders. “You’re stuck with me until you change your mind and take the deal. Why don’t you explain this to your brothers? I’m sure they will understand.”

“Fuck you,” she says through gritted teeth, and seeing the anger rise against her skin as she turns redder makes me hard.

“I already have.”

She gasps at my words before she stands up abruptly and takes a couple of steps toward me. She puts her hands on the edge of my desk, and I’m not going to lie, that image gives me so many ideas, especially when she leans forward, and I can see straight down her suit jacket, where I notice how hard her nipples are. Do I affect her, too?

“Keep teasing me like that and I’ll not be responsible for my actions,” I warn her as my eyes dip down to her breasts before moving back up to her pissed-off face. I give her a grin, which seems to irritate her more.

“Is this the way you want to play things?” she asks, not moving from her spot, so I continue to look at her breasts.

“Yes,” I answer cockily. I want this deal, she’s just collateral damage.

“Okay then, just wanted to make sure we understood each other,” she says, standing up, straightening herself out, and removing my view of her tits. There’s a steely gleam in her eyes.

“If you think telling the world that you got drunk married in Vegas is going to be beneficial to your career, then think again, princess,” I warn her.

Natalia gives me a bright, wide smile. “Guess we’re going to have to wait and see, aren’t we? I better get going, I’ve got a lunch date,” she teases.

“With whom?” I ask without even thinking, and as soon as the words leave my mouth, I wish I could pull them back in. I’m blaming her tits for my lack of filter.

She stills and then smiles at me. “Did you think I wore this for you?” she giggles. Bitch. “Guess you’re going to have to watch me to find out.” And with that, she turns on her heels and walks out of my office.

Fuck.

My dick is hard, and I’m ready to punch something. I’ve never had a woman make me so hard and so angry all at the same time.

Is this what married life is like?

“Alessandro Conti is the biggest asshole on the planet,” I complain to Savannah on the phone.

“I’m assuming that means he hasn’t changed his mind?” she asks.

“No. I even insulted his ego, and he basically told me his ego isn’t that fragile to offend.”

Savannah chuckles. “Dick. What are you going to do?”
