Julia smiled. “What on earth have you got in mind?”
“Well, we could do anything. Is there anything you have been wanting to do but haven’t done because you work too much?”
“I’d actually really like to go and see War Horse at the theatre. It’s really incredible apparently, they have these huge, life-size horse puppets controlled by the actors. It is supposed to be really amazing.”
“Sounds perfect.” Vic smiled.
I just want to make her happy.

As much as Julia loved Hyzenthlay, she was glad to be in London with Vic, just the two of them. Vic had happily taken advantage of Erin and Alexandra’s nannies to leave Hyzenthlay.
“So, because the theatre show isn’t on until later, I’m taking you for a surprise. My choice of afternoon activity.”
Julia rolled her eyes at Vic. “What on earth have I let myself in for?”
She soon realised when the driver dropped them off at their location on the bank of the thames and she took in their surroundings.

Julia’s eyes widened. “I am reading the sign but I have absolutely no idea what this involves!”
“Well, I think basically we are immersed in the game, locked in the room, there will be actors playing zombies and maybe other scientists, and we have to play along. It will be totally cool! You’ll love it.”
Julia wasn’t entirely sure she would love it, but she loved Vic’s enthusiasm. She loved being around Vic. Vic was a breath of fresh air, like nobody she had ever met before.
Twenty minutes later Julia found herself dressed in a lab coat and locked in a laboratory.
“The white coat suits you,” she said to Vic. “You look like a doctor or a scientist or something sexy, for sure.”
God, I shouldn’t be flirting, yet here I am. I can’t resist, she looks so good.
“Why, thank you very much. Today, I am a scientist and we need to find the cure to this deadly virus. Start looking around the lab for clues. Just call me Professor Grey-Hughes.”
It felt like some kind of kinky role play game, and Julia enjoyed immersing herself in it. “Of course, Professor.” She felt that rush of desire again as she started looking for clues in drawers and cupboards around the room. Between them, they figured it out quickly and managed to unlock a door and move to another room. As soon as they settled in there and Julia felt settled in the game, weird noises started and all the lights went out. The room began to shake. Julia screamed.
“Hey, come here… the zombies are coming. Hold my hand.” Julia felt Vic’s hands on her body and felt reassured suddenly. She clung tightly onto Vic’s right arm.
A zombie jumped out at her, screaming suddenly.
Julia screamed again and jumped into Vic, who was calm and steady and determined to guide them through the game.
“It’s okay, I’ve got you, I promise.” Vic held her tighter and Julia clung to her tighter as things got scarier as they progressed through the room. Vic found the way into the corridor then zombies started following them.
“They are coming! They are chasing us!”
“Come on, run.” Vic dragged her by her hand and they ran. All the doors were locked. Julia felt panic as the zombies got closer and closer. They were screaming louder and louder.
Vic found a small door suddenly that looked like a cupboard and opened it.
“Come on, in here.”
