“What’s wrong?” I ask as he disconnects the call.

Picking up his iPad, he doesn’t say anything. He begins swiping and scrolling, then studies something for a minute. He releases a heavy sigh, and he looks pissed.

“Ethan, are you okay?”

“That depends on how you respond to my next question.”

“Okay. What is it?”

“End things with Colin.”

“That’s not exactly a question, Ethan.”

“It’s time, Olivia. End things with him and be with me. Move in with me. Let me show you how good it can be.”

“Ethan—”

“Don’t tell me no, Olivia.”

“Ethan, even if I do end things with Colin, I’m not going to just move in with you.”

“Why do you have to be so fucking stubborn?” He sets the iPad down and drags his hands down his face.

“Excuse me?” I stand up with my hands on my hips.

“Everyone here can see you have feelings for me. You’re making this way more difficult than it needs to be.”

“He’s not just some guy, Ethan. Colin is my fiancé.”

“Fine. The last thing I want is to see you in pain, but you’re leaving me no choice.”

“What the hell are you talking about?”

“Lance, one of my security team leads, does some investigative work for the pack on occasion. I sent him to do some checking on Colin.”

I roll my eyes and sigh. “Of course, you did.”

“This is serious, Olivia. What he found isn’t good.” He hands me the iPad. “You can swipe to the left to see more.”

I take the iPad and look at the first photo. “What am I looking at?” I see Colin in what looks to be a strip club. There’s a different naked woman all over him in compromising positions in each photo. It seems the rule of not being allowed to touch the girls is only a suggestion because his hands are all over them. My chin quivers as I drop down to the couch and fight like hell to keep it together.

“This is what he was doing when he told you he was having drinks at the club the night of the wedding. Apparently, he didn’t mean the country club.” Ethan swipes left to a video showing Colin walking into a VIP room with two naked women. “Just in case you’re curious, he’s in there for an hour and a half.” My stomach churns as I feel hot tears running down my cheeks.

“What’s going on over here? Ethan, what is she looking at?” Chloe asks, sitting next to me. She leans over to look at the iPad and gasps.

“The next photo is from last night after you left the dinner,” Ethan says, swiping to the next photo for me.

“Oh, my God.” I cover my mouth with my hand, swiping again. “It’s the blonde who was all over him.”

“You need to look at the next photo.”

I swipe left once more to see a photo looking through the window of Colin’s house where he’s skin to skin with the woman who couldn’t keep her hands off of him right in front of me at the political event. I’m stunned. I can’t move.

“What the hell did he do?” Nick asks, storming over.

“You’ve seen enough.” Ethan takes the iPad from me and hands it to Nick, who repeatedly shakes his head with a clenched jaw. “I’m sorry, Olivia,” Ethan says.

“Are you, Ethan?” I say, standing. “I mean, isn’t this what you hoped to find? You wanted evidence of Colin misbehaving so you could use it against him and win me over, right?” I spit out through tears, walking away from him.
