Yes, asking to be able to give him a blow job was definitely the easier option.

Leif snorted. “Fucking great. Now I’m going to be hard all night.”

I wasn’t sure quite how to take that. My brain wanted to be embarrassed and my dick was thrilled but the rest of me was a jumble because at least some part of me decided that hadn’t been a smart move.

“I’m sorry?” How was I supposed to recover from this? “I… We’re out of milk. We should go grocery shopping instead of wasting our time.”

He made another rude sound. “We’ve been out for a week and that’s because the last carton died a horrible death well before the expiration date. I’m not buying milk until we change grocery stores and we start actually using it more.”

Oh.

Hm.

“That just means I haven’t been helping enough in the kitchen, so we should go home so I can fix that.” Yes, it was dramatic and designed to distract Leif, but it was so true he couldn’t even roll his eyes.

But his way of fixing that was to ignore me.

He was such an asshole sometimes.

“I’m glad we’re able to walk to the restaurant but we need to pick which one of us is drinking.” Leif’s question wasn’t a new one but it was a reminder about his chaotic childhood.

“I’m voting neither.” He wouldn’t like either of us losing control when we were going out to dinner with the people from Leashes and Lace, but he also wouldn’t want me to think he was controlling me.

Rock, meet hard place…his name is Leif.

“I don’t know what I’d say if I got tipsy and stupid, and I’m not sure I want to hear you that way either.” He got bossy when he was drinking, and now that he wasn’t pretending he was vanilla any longer, I wasn’t sure what would happen.

I might end up kneeling or he might end up oversharing or we both might end up hard and confused.

Yep, none of that needed an audience…especially since a photoshoot wasn’t involved.

Restaurants were not the place to lose control around those types of people…they were bad influences.

Leif chuckled, nodding. “Yeah, I think that’s the best decision, but would it make me an asshole to want to know what your pup side would look like drunk?”

God, he was full of terrible ideas today.

And if he kept making me hard, they were going to notice.

I really shouldn’t have worn slacks.

Had I been subconsciously trying to look like an old fart again?

“Please don’t say that around them and I’ll talk about anything you want later.” My desperation might’ve come across a tad bit dramatic based on how he was trying not to laugh. “This is a terrible idea.”

Leif glanced over at me and raised one eyebrow. “Then you should’ve said no to the guy who kept texting you.”

Ugh.

“But he’s very nice and it seemed mean to tell him no.” He was very good at manipulating me too. “So that means if he tries to talk me into something stupid or something that I’m clearly not ready for, you have to be the one to tell him no.”

I could not be trusted to and Leif’s snicker said he agreed.

“Fine. I will be the bad guy.” His dramatic response had me rolling my eyes as we finally got closer to the restaurant.

“You’re the Dom here. You’re supposed to be the bad guy. That’s how it works.” Duh.

I wasn’t sure I liked the look he was giving me, but we were at the door and he’d run out of time to figure out how he was going to threaten me into behaving.
