“Is that a challenge?”

He hummed back and captured my lips. Just as I had planned, he was falling right into my trap.

I kissed Griffin back, because there was no way I could remain completely immune to him. But that didn’t mean I forgot about what I was doing.

I’d brought us to a stop right next to a massive pile of snow, a pile that had been growing as the guys who worked on plowing kept adding to it all week long. It was right behind Griffin and close enough for me to reach.

Growing eager, I reached my hand out in that direction, leaning heavily into Griffin. He braced his solid body and remained rooted to the spot.

God, he was strong.

With my mouth still attached to his, I took a step or two forward, forcing Griffin to become unbalanced. He stumbled backward and fell into the pile.

I started laughing, and he did the same.

A moment later, Griffin was kissing me again. And with him being so distracted by that, I carried out phase two of my plan. I allowed our kiss to get hot and heavy, while my hands worked in the snow on either side of his head.

The moment I was ready, I tore my mouth from his and noted his labored breathing.

“Perfect,” I whispered.

“What?”

At that, I brought two fistfuls of snow up to either side of his head and smashed it playfully against him.

“Try to catch me now,” I taunted him.

With that, I took off running toward the camper. I had to dodge several piles of snow to do it, and I nearly slipped and fell twice.

Listening to Griffin shout from somewhere behind me, I was thrown into a fit of laughter. It was a wonder I could manage to keep my eyes open and focused on my target.

When I was only twenty feet away, convinced I’d won, strong arms wrapped around me from behind and lifted me from the ground.

I let out a yelp.

My back was plastered to Griffin’s chest, and he spun me around, keeping me wrapped up in a bear hug.

“You don’t play fair.”

“Oh, come on,” I groaned. “You can’t act now like you thought I stood a chance without you being at some kind of disadvantage.”

Griffin kept me in his arms and propelled us forward. When he made it to the door beside the camper, he set me down on my feet, pulled my jacket back slightly, and buried his face in my neck. His body was still behind mine, and one of his hands had drifted up the front of my body toward my chin, which he tipped up to give himself better access.

After nipping the skin there, he pressed his groin firmly against my ass and revealed, “You have all of the advantage, Indy. You have more power than I think you realize.”

I turned my body around to face him, and I started kissing him again. The man was addictive, and everything about him pulled me to him like a magnet.

He kissed me back, but he did it while he fished his keys out of his pocket. Once he had them out, he tore his mouth from mine and said, “Let’s get inside.”

Griffin unlocked the door and ushered me inside. We both removed our shoes just inside the door and stripped our jackets off a minute later.

Then our mouths were on each other again as our hands roamed.

Mine had been pressed against his chest before they drifted up toward his shoulders, ultimately finding their way into his hair.

Griffin’s hands ran up and down my sides several times, until finally, one slid around my back and down toward my ass, the other meeting it there only seconds later. He squeezed and held me tight against him, the evidence of what our make-out session was doing to him between us.

I was so consumed, so caught up, and I wanted to get completely lost in him. As confident as I was about that, it wasn’t without a bit of fear.
