“It can wait.” Dropping a kiss on her lips, I grab Marco by the shoulder as Wes and Granger join us, intent on plotting the perfect protection.
Winston’s appearance with pineapple pizza and strawberry cake interrupts whatever she is about to protest as he guides her to the kitchen.
“She’s given me everything, Marco. I can’t let anything touch her or our children.” The importance of my words rings through the room. If not for Rue, I’d be a miserable man with nothing but money and power. “We got this, boss.” Granger grins as he calls in reinforcements, and we begin planning how to make the property more impenetrable.
