“And I’m about to fuck her. So unless you want to watch, I think it’s time for you to leave.”

Zevo shakes his head, “Yo, man, what the fuck is going on? Was this just a game to you, Ella? Was I just a plaything because I’m a rapper and I’m going places, and you wanted to see if you could hitch yourself to my trailer? Hell no, bitch.”

“What did you just say to me?” I gasp as I jump up.

“Did you just call my girl a bitch?” Colton says, angry now.

“Yo. Wait, what?” Zevo says, and I can tell he’s slightly nervous as Colton looks as pissed as hell. I stare at him for a couple of seconds. Had he just called me his girl? But I wasn’t his girl. I didn’t even understand what was going on.

“You better leave right now before my fist connects with your nose and your mouth and you ain’t rapping ever again,” Colton says. “You hear me? Don’t you ever call my girl a bitch.”

“Yo, man. I don’t know what the fucky, freaky thing is going on here, but I didn’t know she was your girl. Why did she go on a date with me? Why...”

“Get out of here,” Colton says as he leads Zevo to the door. “Now.” Zevo blinks and then leaves. I’m standing there just staring at Colton. He turns to me and raises one single eyebrow. “What the hell is going on here, Ella? Who is that loser, and why are you wasting time with him?”

“You can’t just come in here and send my date packing. You can’t.”

“You’re going to seriously tell me that you were into that guy?”

“Okay, maybe not into him, but...”

“So then, why is he back at your place?”

“I mean, he just... I was just thinking that we...”

“You were doing it so you could screw with me. Well, you’re not going to screw with me anymore, Ella. Are you into me or not?”

I stare at him for a couple of seconds. “What do you care?”

“What do I care?” he says. “Are you fucking kidding me right now? I’m hard as fucking hell, and you’re asking me what do I care?”

“I’m not asking you if you’re hard. Obviously, you like to bang me. That much, I know.”

“Do you think this is about me wanting to fuck you? Seriously?”

“Ijust don’t understand what’s going on,” I say as I glance at Colton.

“What do you not understand, Ella?” he says, shaking his head. He heads toward the couch and takes a seat. He pats the cushion next to him. “Come on.”

“Why are you telling me to come on in my own house?” I say, glancing at him.

“Okay. Don’t come on then,” he says, leaning back and unbuttoning his shirt.

“Why are you taking your shirt off?”

“I’m not taking my shirt off,” he says, shaking his head, his lips twitching. “I was just getting comfortable.”

“Why are you getting comfortable?”

“Because I have a feeling we are going to have a conversation and I would like to be comfortable while we have the conversation.”

“I don’t think we need to have a conversation, Colton. I—”

“Oh, my giddy heart. Ella Wynter, will you sit your ass down and let’s talk?” he says, shaking his head.

I press my lips together, head over to him like a petulant child and sit down on the couch. “What do you want to say to me?”
