“It’s Lily, she's got Bruno on a horse, man!” He pushed out before cracking up again as all of us scrambled to our feet to get a look at the pictures he had. We all broke out in laughter as one photo after another came through with the big tough guy trying to balance his ass on top of the horse he was on.
“Man, how the hell did she get him to do that?” Carter asked, finally letting go of his anger and looking more like the Carter we knew.
Clearing my throat I answered. “She can be very persuasive when she wants to be.”
Both Carter and Hudson looked up and then back and forth between Vance and I with shit eating grins. “I think it sounds like she's got you two bitches wrapped around her little finger.” Hudson commented, pointing a finger, motioning between the two of us.
“Says the guy who's been reduced to Presley's errand boy and sex slave.” I retorted.
“Touché,” he grinned.
Vance swivelled his head at all of us. “I obviously missed something here, didn't I?”
“Oh that you did, brother,” I answered with a chuckle.
“So where are you two at with her? Find out anymore about who possibly hired Gustavo yet?” Carter questioned.
“No, but we're not going to take any chances until Kelan can find out more information on that situation....”
“I have that information for you right now,” Kelan announced, striding into my office, instantly causing the lighthearted atmosphere to suffocate at the hands of the serious one that just took over with those simple words.
“What is it?” Vance asked.
“I just found a wire transfer sent to Gustavo's account for one hundred K... and the account it came from belongs to none other than Vitale Gatti.”
