CHAPTER

24

Gustavo

Seeing Lillian againfor the first time in months, she was just as beautiful as she always was, if not even more. I

almost couldn't believe that she didn't really remember me. To be blunt I don't buy into that whole memory erasing bullshit

that Pablo and Luciano swore by. Too many times I’d seen firsthand that mind erasing crap didn't work. But when she ran into me, I could clearly see that she had absolutely no clue as to who I really was. One instinct that did stick in her memory

about me, though, was the fear she always had of me whenever we were in the same room together. She definitely remembered fearing me, and that look in her eyes made me so hard for her that I just wanted to take her sweet

ass right there in the back of the store. But watching her with those two men from Black Spade earlier had reminded me that she was just another job that I'd been hired to do. “Who’s to say that I need to kill her right away?” I muttered to myself, tapping my finger on my lips.

No, I think I just might keep her for myself for a little while. Lillian will make the most beautiful pet I've ever had the pleasure of breaking. In fact, I think I'm going to make a call and have her new, soon to be room set up on the island, and waiting for her.

My one smart investment, an exclusive island out in the middle of nowhere that could only be reached by boat or helicopter. She thought they could protect her from me. Soon she would see that they couldn't.

I watched the two men she was with, touching my pet way too often, guide her into a restaurant nearby. “Soon my pet, very soon we will be together.”
