“I-I'm fine, really. I'm just trying to figure out where I know him from, because I know I do, I can feel it.”
“Try not to torture yourself over it too much. We’ve got Kelan checking the cams and he will email us the images of everyone within a ten-minute span forwards and backwards of when he approached. That way you can see if you’re able to identify him since all Brice saw was the back side of his head when he had a hold of you, see if we can’t find out just who this guy is.”
She shrugged. “Okay, well what do we do for now?”
“Maybe we could grab some take out and then head back to the hotel? By then Kelan should have gotten those images for us. What do you think? You up for getting something to eat?" I asked her, keeping my eyes focused on anyone lurking
around us that could fit the man's description that I saw earlier.
“All right.” She answered with a look that told me that she wasn’t letting go anytime soon of trying to figure out just who that guy was.
After we’d gotten some Chinese take out and headed back to the hotel, we opened up the laptop to check and see if Kelan had sent us the images yet, sure enough they're there waiting for us. “Lily!” Vance called out.
She walked out of her bedroom looking so beautiful in something so simple as yoga pants and a t-shirt. “Yeah?”
“Let's go through these and see if you can recognize anyone.”
Nodding her head, she sat down between us on the couch. Leaning over I put my hand on the back of her neck and pulled her lips to my own. “We'll find him, I promise. Try not to worry so much, okay?” I tried to reassure her, rubbing circles with my thumb on the back of her neck to soothe her.
“I'll try. It's just... he gave me that same feeling I got when I saw the picture of the man who was my ex fiancé. I just have this nagging feeling he's an extremely dangerous man.”
Turning her face towards him, Vance placed a kiss on her forehead. “Let us worry about that, okay? When we know
what he looks like, we will be able to keep an eye out for him.”
“Okay.”
As we ran through the images, that Kelan sent us, Lily finally spoke up, pointing at the screen. “There! That's the man right there.”
Watching the video, we see him slip into a black Mercedes and speed off, seemingly right after he'd left the boutique. “We need to call Kelan...”
“On it,” I said, cutting Vance off as walked into my room and pulled out my phone to call him.
After I let Kelan know what cam and time slot on the video to find him in, I hung up to walked back into the living room only to find Lily straddling Vance's lap.
