“I’m done fucking around. Tell me where she is.”

Doll clears her throat. “How about you take you and your fucking Diablos goons and get the fuck out of my clubhouse” Suddenly I heard a click and Doll backs away from the bar. Her whole body comes into my view now that she’s far enough away. “Really Isaiah? Is that fucking necessary?”

“I know she’s here. Where are you hiding her?” he hisses. Doll doesn’t answer. She stands her ground and stares at him. I hear a deep chuckle, then quick heavy steps coming around the bar. Isaiah comes into view. He grabs Doll by the throat and slams her up against the liquor wall, causing bottles to fall and shatter.

“I’m tired of asking questions. Tell me now,” he hissed. I see her throat bob as she swallows.

“She isn’t here,” she whispers. Isaiah sucks in his cheeks and takes a deep breath. He lets go of Doll and takes a step back, turning around. He sighs and shakes his head.

“You couldn’t just make this easy, could you?” he says. He whips around, swinging his hand with the gun in it, into Doll’s head, sending her to the floor.

“Agh!” she screams as she hits the floor. I cover my mouth with both hands to hold in my scream.

Isaiah stands over her and grabs her by the hair, yanking her face up to his so that they’re inches apart. Blood starts to pour down the side of her head and tears gather in her eyes.

“Please, just tell me. Give me a hint,” he says, tightening the grip on her head. Her lips stay sealed, and Isaiah sighs again. He swings the butt of the gun into the side of her head again. She reaches up to try and stop him from swinging again. Before he could get in another strike, I grab my waist band knife and scrambled from out of under the bar.

“Stop! Stop! I’m here!” I screamed, running up to grab him. His head snapped towards me. He instantly lets go of Doll and swings the gun my way. Instincts kick in and I duck. Coming back up, I aim for his abdomen, slicing the air with my blade. It makes contact with Isaiah’s stomach.

“Fuck!” he shouts. I go for another swing when I’m yanked back by my hair. I fall backwards into someone. They wrap their arms around me, securing my arms to my side.

I struggling to get free, someone snatches my knife from my hands.

“You little bitch,” Isaiah hisses, holding his stomach.

“You good bro?” a familiar voice comes from the person holding me asked.

“Yeah, little bitch nicked me,” Isaiah said, pulling his hand away from his stomach. Drops of blood dripped from his hand.

“How can you do this? How could you just sit there and torture the woman who raised you? Loves you? Huh? How could you do that?” I scream at Isaiah. His nostrils flare as he glares at me.

“Tie her up and gag her,” he says, turning back towards Doll.

“No! Leave her alone!” I shout and start kicking and wiggling my body around. I throw my head back, making contact with the face of the person behind me.

“Shit!” their grip tightened on me. “A little help here!”

“Jesus Gabe. Someone help him,” Isaiah sighs. Gabe? I turn my head and look behind me. Gabe’s face came into frame.

“You dick sucking backstabbing bastard!” I scream at him. I go to scream at him again when a man comes up to me and shoves a cloth in my mouth, tying it around my head. He then grabs my hands, wrapping zip ties around my wrists, tightening them to where they cut into my skin.

“Legs too” Isaiah said. The man sighs and uses two ties on my ankles, linking them together. Gabe finally lets me go after they have me tied up.

“You think this plan will actually work?” the guy who tied me up asked Isaiah.

“Positive,” Isaiah says, checking the chamber of his gun. “And if you know how ravens live, you know that they always find their way to something dead.”

Time slows as I watch Isaiah turn and fire a round into Doll.

“No!”

I’m jolted awake by the feeling of ice-cold water splashing across my body.
