He glanced up. “What?”
“What does that gesture I made at you mean?”
He started laughing and stopped abruptly when I frowned. There was a short silence and he cleared his throat. Leaning on the table, his shirt gaping briefly.
“It’s an obscene sexual gesture,” he said.
“Oh. I thought it was kind of like the middle finger. I saw Yale do it to Candice and she got really pissed.”
“It simulates cunnilingus.”
“What?”
He lifted his fingers and my heart stopped as he made a V over his mouth. I forgot how to breathe. My fingers tightened around my mug so tightly I worried it would shatter. His lips parted and his tongue flicked out.
“Oh,” I breathed. “Now it makes sense.”
He grinned in a flash of white. His fingers dropped.
“Do you like that?” I asked before I could lose my nerve.
“Like it?”
“Do you enjoy going down on women?”
He was at a loss for words, his lips parting.
“You admitted you wanted to sleep with me. You kissed me,” I said, heart thudding. “And now you can’t even answer that question.”
His lids flickered and his eyes burned, narrowing.
“You’re not asking if I like going down on women,” he said. His voice was thick, edged with rich darkness.
“Yes, I am.”
“No, you’re asking if I would enjoy going down on you.”
The world spun around us and I ached for him. Dying to feel that universe shattering touch once more. His stare was like a laser beam, so intense it scorched me to my core. Making me pulse and my panties dampen.
“I have my doubts Osian will ever do that for me,” I said.
“He’d better.”
“I…I don’t want him to. I mean, I don’t care.”
His jaw tensed, working slightly. We were both quiet, breathing hard. Unsure and fighting against our desires. He cleared his throat and to my shock, sank to his knees before me.

He looked up, cocking his head. “You are asking me to perform oral sex on you.”
I felt my eyes widen. “Do you always say it like that?”
