Ariwalkedintothehouse ahead of me and I watched her supple hips sway with each step. I couldn’t remember the last time I walked home from the village but having the alone time with her in the darkness with only nature around us had cleared my head.

And I think it cleared hers too.

She had been fighting mad at me when we left Davide and Isabella’s home for embarrassing her by playing with her body right in front of them. To be honest, I simply couldn’t keep my hands away from her, and that’s why I had done it.

When I walked in, I expected outrage from her. Instead, what I got was silent wonder from her beautiful brown eyes as she stared at me across the room.

Wonder and fear.

Considering the last time I’d seen her I’d choked her unconscious, that was warranted.

She was waiting for me to cause a scene, maybe even drag her from the house kicking and screaming. I wasn’t an animal though.

Well, all of the time.

Instead I greeted long-time friends of mine and tried to exude the picture of perfection and act like a doting husband which only served to shock my young wife even more.

Something I was finding I quite enjoyed doing.

Now we were home and I felt her steeling herself to me more and more with each step inside of our home.

Matteo and Dio waited for me in the foyer when we walked in, but I waved them off before either of them could open their mouths. “Whatever it is, figure it out and handle it. Don’t bother me for the rest of the night.”

Matteo smirked and winked at Arianna as she whipped her head around to look at me, “Whatever you say, Capa.” Then he nudged the silent Dio from the room towards the wing my men spent most of their time in.

“What are you doing?” Ari asked, eyeing me as I walked toward the stairs.

“Going to bed.” I bumped her along ahead of me, “Same as you.”

She opened her mouth to say something but then snapped it shut and turned away, hurrying up the stairs as I smirked after her.

When we got to our room she eyed me once again as I walked toward the closet, pulling my sweater off over my head.

I could feel her eyes on me as I stood inside, toeing off my shoes and then undoing my belt and jeans.

Good girl.

I hadn’t spent a single night in this room with her since marrying her. Not once had I fallen asleep next to her even though we had been married for weeks now.

I intended to change that tonight.

When I stood in my black boxer briefs I walked back out, catching her snapping her jaw shut before scurrying away into the privacy of the bathroom. She shut the door behind her, but I didn’t care.

I followed after her, opening the door and catching her standing at the vanity staring at herself in the mirror. “Do you mind?” She asked in shock.

“Not one bit.” I walked over to the toilet and lifted the seat, took my dick out, and started to piss.

She scoffed and I looked over at her, finding her eyes zeroed in on my dick as I urinated. “Do you have a pissing fetish, Wife?” I challenged and she clenched her jaw once again and then turned the water on, facing the faucet and actively trying to ignore me. I chuckled at her, shaking myself dry before flushing and walking over to her. “Tell me, why the sudden silence?”

“I’m utterly speechless,” She said before dropping her face down and splashing water onto it, scrubbing herself free of the light makeup she wore to dinner.

When she came back up, I took the towel she blindly felt for and held it out of her reach until she cracked one eye open and glared at me until I handed it to her. “Why are you speechless?”

“Does it bother you that I’m not yelling my feelings out to you?” she countered from behind the towel and then stood up straight, revealing her smooth face.

“Yes, it does. I’ve already told you I can’t read you. You usually at least have the decency to scream at me, so I know what you’re thinking,” I admitted honestly and she smirked.

“I do not scream at you.”
