I KISSED A GIRL BY KATY PERRY

JAY

“Holy shit, is that a hot tub?” Nikki shouts as we step out onto the roof.

Kevin nudges me. “This place is fucking sick. How come Carter’s never brought us here?”

I shrug. “If you mention a word of this to him—”

He cuts me off, throwing both hands up. “It’s your death warrant.”

Pulling in a deep breath, I watch Cat while she takes in the view of Boston at night. She’s in sweats, her shoulder peeking out of the slouched shirt as the wind blows her hair around her wildly. “Worth it,” I say without taking my eyes off her. Though she’s been in my arms all night, I itch for her touch, so I ditch Kevin and beeline for her. With an arm circling her waist, I pull her until her back is flush with my chest and press a kiss to that exposed shoulder. “Tired?”

She nods. “If not for the guests, I’d be curled up in bed with you right now.”

I hum. “Fuck ’em. Let’s go.”

She laughs softly, and like a bolt of lightning, the tinkling sound hits me right in the chest. Fuck, I’m crazy about this girl. She spins and loops her arms around my neck. But her eyes don’t find mine. Instead of meeting my gaze, she cranes her neck to the side and mutters, “Holy shit.”

Without letting her go, I turn, and suddenly her outburst makes perfect sense. Kevin is stark naked and heading for the hot tub. Nikki is already slipping below the water, not a stitch of clothing on. “Fucking A,” I mutter. “I’m sorry. I’ll tell him he can’t…”

I lose my words as Cat steps back and saunters in their direction, her hands on the hem of her top. She turns back at the last minute, hitting me with a mischievous smirk. “Last one in the hot tub buys coffee for the week.”

I growl and rush across the rooftop, trying to get to her before the sweatshirt slips over her head, but it’s too late. She’s topless, her full breasts on display. She turns to face me, walking backward. “You chicken, Hanson? I thought this was your thing.” She tips her head to the hot tub. “Two women, your friend…isn’t this how your nights normally end?”

My jaw tics, and I shake my head. What the fuck is she doing? She slips her fingers below the waistband of her sweatpants and shimmies them down as she continues backward.

I holler to Kevin, “Eyes shut, asshole.”

He laughs as he covers them. God dammit. Yeah, we’ve been in similar situations before. But this isCat.I should be the only one with this view of her.

Cat kicks her pants in my direction. “Come on, tight-ass, I know you don’t want me in the hot tub without you.”

I yank on my tie, working it back and forth as I stalk toward her. “You’re dead, woman.”

She smiles. “Worth it.” She slips into the water, and I fumble with the buttons of my shirt, watching Kevin, who keeps his eyes closed until Cat is fully submerged in the water and only her shoulders and head are visible.

“Can I open my eyes yet?” Kev asks just as I’ve kicked my boxers off.

I huff and step to the edge of the hot tub. “Yeah.” I slide into the water beside Cat and pull her close. “But touch her, and you’re dead.” I glare at Nikki as well. She’s friends with Mia. I wouldn’t put it past any of these fuckers tonight. Then I tug on Cat’s hip and press my face into her neck. “You trying to give me a heart attack?”

She pulls herself onto my lap and straddles me. With her breasts in my face, her ass in my hands, and her pussy warm against my rock-hard cock, I mutter, “What are you doing?”

She wiggles on top of me and giggles. Then twists at the waist and quips, “Can someone tell him to calm down?”

Kevin smirks as he meets my eyes. “Your girl has a point. Relax.”

Snuggled up next to him, Nikki smiles, but she’s mostly silent. It takes me only a minute to realize she’s jerking Kevin off while he sits there with a smug, calm look on his face.

I shake my head with a laugh. “Fucker.”

Cat rubs against me again.

Turning my attention back to her and gripping her hips, I say, “Let’s go to bed.”

Her lips find mine. Her skin is damp and heated, and her cheeks are rosy. “I thought this was what you liked,” she whispers.

“Cat,” I say seriously. “I’m not sharing you.”
