“Yes, it is. You haven’t seen it.”

“Doesn’t matter, I know it’s not ugly.”

“How?”

“Because it’s a part of you. And nothing about you could be ugly.”

She shook her head, a tear slipping down her cheek and breaking his heart. Slowly, he moved closer, not wanting to startle her. Reaching out, he cupped the side of her face. He ran his thumb along her lower lip. Suddenly, she bit the digit.

Then she gasped in a breath, staring up at him wide-eyed. Inwardly, he was amused. But he forced a stern look onto his face. “What was that? Did you just bite Daddy?”

“Nope.”

He raised his eyebrows, both at the reply and the younger quality to her voice. “Nope? You sure about that?”

“Wasn’t me, Daddy. Did you bite your own thumb?”

“Pretty sure that would be impossible, since it’s nowhere near my mouth. Are you lying to me, my girl?”

She shook her head, eyes wide. “I wouldn’t, Daddy. I’m a good girl.”

“Of course you’re a good girl.”

Her shoulders slumped.

“But even good girls do naughty things. Stand up and turn around.”

Her eyes were wide but she slowly climbed out of the bed. She kept her hands over her stomach, covering the scar there. But he took the rest of her in as quickly as he could. He noticed some thin scars on her breasts but she turned before he could really study her.

“That’s a good girl. Now, bend over and touch your toes.”

“Ed,” she said nervously.

“What do you call me?”

“Daddy.”

Fuck. Was it really possible for him to get harder? Apparently, it was.

“What’s your safeword?”

“Red.” He watched her relax slightly.

“You feel scared, in pain, you need to stop and talk, then you say red, okay?”

“Okay.”

“Okay, Daddy,” he told her.

“Okay, Daddy.”

“That’s my good girl. Do you need to say your safeword?”

“No, Daddy.”

“Then bend over and present your bottom to me.”

She bent right over.
