It took me a second to register her voice with how high it was in comparison to the threatening harmonic tone she’d used earlier when we confronted Amaya.
“Juniper,” I praised and ended up hugging her back. “You did it!”
“We!”she acknowledged and pointed to Asher.“Alpha helped.”
“He did,” I agreed and watched as Alpha Axel crossed his arms over his chest.
“Little wolf,” he called to Juniper, who immediately responded by tackling him before he could open his mouth to say whatever he had in mind.
They went crashing into the floor, which made Axel groan before he chuckled.
“You’re seriously a powerhouse, Little Wolf.” He chuckled almost proudly as his hands were already running through her extremely long strands.
They were long enough that they spilled down the two of them, making me realize Juniper wore black leather tights, black combat boots, a black crop top, and had similar tattoos as I.
“Axel!”she cheered his name and hugged him tightly as she giggled like this was the happiest thing ever.“Mine!”
"Yes, yes,” he agreed, and I watched him kiss her forehead and hug her. “Yours.”
My heart actually swelled at their connection before I looked to Asher, who had a wide grin on his softened face.
“I kissed you to give you a bit of a boost,” he revealed and reached out to hold my hand so he could squeeze it comfortingly. “I think Juniper can pull off looking like you.”
“But can she drive a motorcycle?” I questioned as Axel managed to scoop Juniper up before rising up to his feet with ease.
“Little Wolf? You think you can drive a bike?” Axel asked, and I watched her lean back from hugging his neck to stare down at him with the cutest expression of bewilderment.
“Vroom. Vroom!”she declared as though that confirmed she could.
Asher and I shared a smirk before he tugged my hand and encouraged me to follow him to the clothed item next to Ruby.
“I guess it would be a good idea to reveal your new beauty,” he announced, and that made my stomach flip in excitement because I’d literally forgotten the fact that this man had actually bought me an eighteen-zeros motorcycle.
“Did you really pay eighteen zeros?” I cautiously asked as he let go of my hand. He ended up kissing me real quick at the mere sight of my anxiety revolving around the cost.
“I paid what I knew my mate deserved,” he announced as he approached the clothed machinery and grabbed onto the black sheet. “And it was nineteen zeros.”
“NINETEEN?!” I gasped just as he tugged on the cloth to reveal the divine beauty beneath it.
My jaw dropped and I noticed Eira’s and Phyx’s attention was on the new bike that resonated with my very soul. I couldn’t fathom words as my eyes scanned the slick, metallic beauty that looked much newer than Ruby.
It was latest model and looked more high-tech — the body of a shimmering blue with glitter of white and orange. There were glowing parts that accented the sides of the bike and the dashboard was one huge screen while the handles were a metallic orange with midnight blue sparkles.
“SHINY!”Juniper pointed to the bike, and I think it was taking everything Axel had to keep her in his grasp.
“Be patient, Little Wolf,” Alpha Axel said and chuckled. “You’ll get to touch it in a moment.”
Asher looked back at me as he offered his hand for me to come over to him. I couldn’t hide my obvious nervousness because I’d never driven something so new before.
Or expensive.
I reached his side, and he kept me close before he used his free hand to activate the screen.
“Activating. Please standby.”Her voice was a deeper octave in comparison to Ruby’s, and I realized I needed to think of a female name to go with her slick exterior.
“Thinking of a name?” Asher inquired as he side-glanced my way. “Something to match her sleek body?”
“How in our Goddess’s name did you manage to get this?” I questioned breathlessly.
