“Grab him,” I shouted.

King wasn’t having any of that. He tore around the bathroom, leaving more water behind than stuck to his fur.

Link finally managed to scoop him up, and hand him back.

“Hold him tighter this time,” I said.

Elliot looked me over, and an unexpected wave of desire flooded me. “Why am I the only one who’s wet?” he asked.

“Maybe you’re off your game.” My teasing retort slipped out before I could filter it. Did that come out right? Did I even want to say that?

The corner of his mouth tugged up, and his smirk was both a threat and a promise. “Are you looking for a dirty response? Something filthy?”

Enough of my online persona was still near the surface that I grabbed a retort and swept hesitation aside. “A girl starts to have expectations…”

Elliot nodded.

What was he thinking? Dude had a scary poker face.

In a blink, he scooped up some water in his cupped hands, and splashed me with it.

I squealed in surprise, and looked down to see the water had made my top nearly see through, I’d left my bra off to tease thecamera. “Oh, you asshole.” I wasn’t mad. Couldn’t even muster a hint of it in my voice.

And the way he looked me over made desire pulse between my thighs.

“We have a puppy to wash,” Elliot said.

Except as thebathwent on, as much water got on both of us, and somehow on Link halfway across the room, as did on the dog and in the tub.

King seemed to be here for the fun, based on his yipping and jumping.

I didn’t blame him.

Half an hour later, everyone—everything—in the room was half drenched. But King was clean, and Elliot had him wrapped in a towel, and cradled him. “I think the little bastard is falling asleep.”

“I think he loves his Daddy.” Link sounded adoring.

Too. Sweet. This was like what a Normal Rockwell paintingshouldlook like. Heartfelt, with an underlying hint ofsomeone’s going to get laid tonight if they’re lucky.

Was it wrong that I wanted it to be me? After this roller coaster of a day, when I wasn’t even sure how these men felt about me being here in person?

“We need to change,” Elliot said.

I was about to push my luck a notch further. Please let this pay off.We were having fun, so it should be okay, right? “If I sayno, then what?”

Elliot raised an eyebrow. Did he practice that in front of a mirror? “Then I’ll make you.”

“You’llmakeme change out of my wet clothes?”

“Do you really want to do this?” Elliot’s question sounded sincere, rather than irritated.

“It’s part of the reason I’m here.”

Link made a noise that was half sigh, half quiet groan.

That was sexy, and it tied to so many memories of the things we’d talked about doing, when we chatted.

Elliot remained stoic. “If we do it, then there are rules.”
