"Me, too," Trent grinned.

All of them burst into laughter.

Kensi grinned. "I wish I would have been there to shoot him, too."

Again, more laughter.

Trey let out a sardonic laugh and placed a light hand on his shoulder. “Uh, I think I should be thanking you, little brother, you kinda saved my life. That bullet was meant for me.”

Kensi sniffed, tears washing down her cheeks. “And I hear you disabled the bomb that was going to blow us all up, so … thank you.”

He tried to shake his head, but it hurt. “Stop.” He couldn’t take credit for anything. “Trent told me the wires to cut. So it's a good thing he came back from the dead.”

Everyone laughed, then got quiet, waiting.

Trent looked at all of them, tears washing down his face. "It was the grace of God that brought me back to you. The Taliban took me and shoved me in a cave for … until now. Me and my guys miraculously were able to get a break and fight our way out." His face turned sober. "It was awful and horrible and … so many people helped us and …" He frowned. "So many people died, but … I'm here."

All of his siblings rushed to him, encircling him in a huge hug.

Hunter cried, unable to believe that his brother was back.

He was right here, holding his hand.

Reese leaned into his other side, gently kissing his cheek. "It's so awesome."

Hunter sniffed. "It is." There truly weren't words.

Everyone pulled back and Trent grinned through tears. "And the Lord brought me back right in time."

Hunter grinned at him. "Yes, he did."

Trent hesitated, then pointed to his eyepatch. "What's up with the patch, dude?"

Everyone laughed.

"Later," Hunter said, turning to the rest of them. He turned to Reese. “Everyone else was okay?”

“Everyone else is fine."

Kensi nodded. "But we do have something to show you.”

He frowned, not sure he was in the mood for … more.

Marshall and Brooks turned and grabbed a portable television. An old television.

Marshall cleared his throat. “Since you had a couple of hours in surgery, we thought we'd better go inspect the house, to see if there was something where Banks wanted to blow everything up.”

Brooks nodded. “Matt was gracious and had a couple of back hoes sent over. We dug up the area that he’d set bombs to go off.”

Kensi gasped. “I can’t believe he was going to blow up half the house.”

Trey nodded. “I can’t believe there was actually something down there.”

Trent put a hand on Trey's shoulder. "I can't believe I'm actually alive."

They all laughed.

Marshall messed with the television and cords. “Dad left a safe, made out of the same material as the superman key. It had this television, VCR, and VHS tape in it.”
