Trent moved back to her side, giving Hunter a punch in the shoulder on the way.

Trey cleared his throat. “You have no idea the madness you have saved us from.”

Brooks nodded next to him. “Though we are going to have a planning session in just a little bit and try to figure out what all the numbers lead us to.”

Serenity swatted Brooks’s shoulder. “Just give us a second to be together.” She looped her arm through his. “Not talking about the treasure.”

“Yeah.” Marshall elbowed Trey, then bustled over to Brooks and elbowed him. “Give us a sec, bro. We could talk about my wife being pregnant.” Laughter erupted around them, and then Marshall was pulling Kat next to him.

She threw her hands up. “Marshall, they all know I’m pregnant.”

Trent put his arm around Liberty and leaned in, whispering in her ear. “I’m really glad you’re here. Really glad.”

She gazed up into his eyes. “Me too. It does feel like home.”

Trent quirked a little smile. “Home, you say? Does that mean you’re keeping the house?”

“It means that’s a good possibility.” For the first time, she really liked that idea a lot.

Ava moved to Liberty’s other side and draped an arm over her shoulder. “I heard that your brother is in town. Please invite him to our party tonight. We have the whole beach crew, and he is welcome to be with us.”

The idea made Liberty feel complete. “I’ll invite him.”

Trent pointed to his sister. “Thank you,” he said, winking at his sister.

Liberty found herself, once again, lost in the group of people and catching up with Dawn.

Dawn hugged her. “Yes, thank you for solving it. We were all about to go mad.”
