He looked around. “I don’t know why Dad took that picture here, but you’re freezing. Let’s go.”
Fifteen minutes later, they stood next to the side door of her grandmother’s house, and he kissed her, wishing so many things. Dang, she was beautiful. A goddess in the moonlight.
“Good night, Trent.”
“Christmas party tomorrow night? Together?”
She hesitated. “Are you sure?”
“Definitely.” He wanted so much more than a Christmas party with her.
