“I’m a good little robot,” she said, eagerly awaiting a kiss.

“That’s right,” he said, kissing her forehead. “Now go to sleep, baby girl. You have a big day ahead of you tomorrow.”

“Yes, Master,” she said.

He tucked her under the covers once more, and put a charging cord in the back of her neck. Eyelids heavy, and body relaxed, Princess fell into a deep robot sleep.

Chapter4

Master

He wouldn’t be able to resist her much longer. She looked and felt so real. The emotions in her eyes told a story too. If she really was starting to feel in the ways that humans did, it would be his greatest accomplishment.Silly and ridiculous, he thought, she’s just a robot. He erased the notion from his head almost as soon as it popped up. If there was anything he’d learned in life, it was to expect to be disappointed. Deep inside, Master just wanted to share reciprocal love with his companion.

When the fake sun came through the faux windows, Master brimmed with excitement. It was Day 2, and already she’d made so much progress.

He’d have to wake Princess manually, but soon she’d catch on to the proper sleeping schedule and do it on her own. He’d written down a few rules for her to follow, so it would be easier for her systems to act naturally as a submissive. It was difficult to teach a robot to be imperfect though. He’d made her proficient and exceptional in every way, after all.

Rules:

1.Always answer with “Yes, Master” when you’re given instructions.

2.Bedtime is at 9:30 pm. Before bed you must: brush your teeth, wash your face, and put on pajamas.

3.Wake up time is 6:30 am.

4.Do your chores which include: vacuuming, folding laundry (master does all the cooking and dishes)

5.Do not overexert yourself. Even robots need rest.

6.Spend time on art, music, and hobbies

7.Do your stretches

8.Unclench your jaw and relax

9.You come to master with all your hopes, dreams, worries, and concerns

10.Don’t talk back

Master didn’t know if she’d ever be able to follow rule number nine. Robots didn’t have hopes, dreams, worries, or concerns, but when she kissed him, he felt like all that could change. Maybe he could be the genius who made the very first sentient robot, but no one would ever know that she existed. He’d always keep his mastermind locked away in a vault.

Test 4- Following The Rules

“Wake up, Princess,” he said, pulling the cord from the back of her neck. “Wake up time is 6:30 am.”

Princess sat up, but she didn’t yawn or stretch her arms above her head. He knew it would take work to get her where he wanted her.

“Yes, sir,” she said.

“Very good, Princess. Now, it’s time to make some breakfast. If you were a real human, you’d eat food too.”

“I could be real. If I try hard. Right?” she sighed.
